Searching For Salvation

In the depths of my despair,
I search for something to repair
The broken pieces of my soul
That have been shattered and left unwhole

I wander through the darkest night
Hoping to find a guiding light
To lead me towards salvation
And free me from this endless frustration

I've been lost for far too long
In this world that feels so wrong
I've begged for mercy, I've cried for grace
But still, I find no resting place

I've searched in temples, churches, and shrines
But no answers can I find
I've looked to the heavens above
But all I see is an empty glove

Where is the savior that I seek?
The one who can make me complete
The one who can heal my pain
And make me whole once again

But then I hear a gentle voice
Whispering to me, giving me a choice
It says, "My dear, salvation is within
You just have to look deeper within"

And suddenly, I see the truth
That I've been searching for since my youth
Salvation is not an external quest
But an internal journey, a personal test

I close my eyes and look inside
And there, I find the tears I've cried
The pain, the hurt, the scars
But also, the strength, the courage, the stars

I realize that I am my own salvation
And with this newfound revelation
I pick up the pieces of my soul
And slowly, I start to become whole

I may still stumble and fall
But now I know that through it all
I have the power to rise again
And find my own salvation in the end

So I'll keep searching, but with a new aim
To find peace within and break free from this pain
For I am strong, I am brave
And I am my own salvation, my own saving grace
