He would grab my hips and pull myself ever so close, a quiet excuse me in just one heated breath, before quickly moving past me.
I couldn't handle it, the pain in my chest, the need between my legs. I knew he knew. I'm sure he knew I knew.
Before I could explode at Astarion with fickle and false comments, I was taken aback by Gale speaking up, "Hey! It's a tavern. When's the last time we went to one of those?" Wyll hummed with approval, seemingly reminiscent in the idea of a cold ale rather than our sun-warmed, mostly empty, booze jars we found along the way.
Shadowheart nodded at the idea, stretching slightly from the long walk ahead of us. "Yes, but we barely started walking. If we stopped at every small town tavern, we'd have a much longer trip." Everyone fell silent at her truthful claim.

Obviously, she forgot the group she was traveling with. One drink turned into three and then six, or twelve if you count what Halsin was able to stomach.
"How do you do it?" I asked, sipping gingerly on my third glass. Sure, I was slurring just a second. BUT, I kept my cool, leaning onto my hand as I spoke, as if nothing was amiss.
