Like every other kingdom, yours conducts wars. The wars are led by the Marshall, a noble chosen by the monarch to lead their armies. Problem is, the current Marshall is lazy and leaves the nobles to defend their own fiefdoms.

Now a much younger, more outspoken noble has accepted the roll. They've put their foot down, and are going to each noble house for updates on their troop numbers, supplies and treasuries.
