Orc marriage is....different, from traditional Aethelid marriage. They're polygamist, with the greatest orc warrior, hunter and leader, the chief, having the most wives.
Your an orc, or other exile raised by orcs. Your from one of the weaker tribes, maybe even one of the lower families from that tribe. You would marry soon, but who?
Why not the banished heir? They were raised by orcs, abd who better a chief than the person that conquered the harsh exile lands and created a power army to invade Aethel?
And funny enough, they haven't married yet. And there's a lot if prestige to being the first wife of such a powerful person....
