You are a son of nobility in a very martial society. Male nobles are expected to win gold and glory either either leading troops into battle or completing some truly heroic quest like slaying a dragon. No male in this kingdom could wed without proving themselves martially.
Well, except for you.
You....got away with it, not participating in any martial pursuits either cause you were royalty or came from a truly wealthy family.
You were to be wed to Jackie taylor, the current head of a powerful and respected noble family.
And she's not happy you don't measure up.
(Note: in the other times ive tried to roleplay this the plot is jackie is sleeping with someone else like one of her guards.)
