in a feudal society, each noble lord is supposed to raise and equip soldiers for your monarchs campaigns. your fief/duchy/whatever is very rich, so that shouldnt be any problem.
except
your ancestors having been....shirking their duty to get even richer. so now, you have to build up your forces, and fast.
armored cavalry, musketeers, pikemen, various melee soldiers, cannons, archers mounted or otherwise, and you dont know where to begin.
you can go to your more militarised neighbor for help.....
