Ashaangi TS Mayakuriye

Part One

Walking inside, Constable Raju shook his head as loud screams echoed the walls of Peelamedu E2 police station.

"Sir! Sir! Vitrunga Sir! Ini ipdi pana matom Sir"

"Yov Aettu, Sir oda kaivannama?" Eyeing at the lockup, Raju asked the head constable Kumaravel who nodded his head.

"Amam pa. Adangapidaringa. Ladies' college pillaingala vambiluthutu irundhanunga. Oru ponna kai ah pidichu iluthutu iruka apo Sir pathutaru. Pidichutu vandhu adi veluthutu irukaru" Kumaravel filled in.

"Sir! Sir! Vitrunga Sir! Naanga pannadhu thappu dhan Sir!"

"Ini ipdi panna matom Sir! "

"Manichurunga Sir!"

The screams stopped and Raju walked towards the lockup. He opened the door and walked in but paused on his track when the latti fell in front of him.

"Sir, neenga keta files eduthutu vandhuten Sir. Onga table la vachuruken" Raju said eyeing at his senior officer's raging breath.

"Good. Andha kidnapping case oda paper work ah Kumaravel anna va night kula ready pana solirunga Raju" Ashwin Krishnakumar, the inspector of the precinct said as he stepped away from the boys on the floor, "Aprm indha pasanga ta statement vangikonga. Namma doctor ah vandhu paaka sollunga, aprm anupivainga"

Raju nodded and Ashwin turned to the boys,

"Padikura pasanga nu viduren. Inoruka ipdi ponunga kita vambu panradha pathen!" Ashwin threatened, pointing his index finger, "Pathu nadandhukonga!"

Ashwin walked out of the lockup, nodded at Kumaravel before stepping inside his office. He tucked in his shirt, refreshed himself and sat down on his desk. He opened his mobile with a smile but after couple of scrolls his lips thinned. Guess someone's busy. Placing his mobile on the table, he leaned on his chair and heaved a deep sigh before going through the file in front of him.

"Come in" Ashwin looked up when he heard a knock.

"Sir" Ram, the trainee under Ashwin saluted him.

"Vaanga, Ram. Paper works lam mudinjadha?"

There are seven trainees under Ashwin. The training period was two months and today was their last day.

"Yes, Sir. Neenga sign panitinga na wrap up paniralam Sir" Ram said handing over the files to Ashwin.

"Indha two-month training enga career ku romba useful ah irukum Sir. Neraya kathukitom. Thank you for mentoring us Sir" Ram said sincerely as Ashwin signed with a smile.

"Pleasure was mine, Ram. I'll miss working with you people" Ashwin stood up and after a quick handshake with Ram, he gave the files to him, "Wrap pani mudichathum gather everyone in the briefing room. I'll meet them"

Ram nodded and excused himself with a salute. Ashwin sat down with a smile. He opened his mobile but sighed and placed it down.

"Ivlo nerama yenna panitu iruka iva?" Muttering under his breath, Ashwin immersed himself with work.

Around seven Ashwin went to the briefing room and met with the trainees. Ram, Saravanan, Azar, Maha, Grace, Gopi and Sakthi were the trainees. They all look up to Ashwin and they were bit disheartened that they won't get to work under Ashwin anymore.

Ashwin understood that from their face and spoke with them casually to ease them. He sat down with them and they all were chatting with him enthusiastically. He answered all their doubts, even pulled their legs and chilled with them.

Saravanan received a call from his girlfriend which made his squad mates to hoot and tease him. They had a laugh on his expense.

"Sir, paarunga sir kalachute irukanga!" Saravanan whined.

"Pinna ipdi love sick puppy ah irundha kalaika dhan da seivanga" Ashwin laughed.

"Sirr!" Saravanan whined but then continued, "Na love sick puppy na apo ongala epdi sir kupduradhu?"

"Na yenna da panen?" Ashwin asked laughing but with scrunched eyebrows.

"Pinna, vandhadhu la irundhu oru irupadhu vaati achum phone ah check panirupinga, neenga edhirpakura message varla nu moonjiya paavama vachutu phone ah vaikuringa. Na pakala nu nenachingala?" Saravanan said in a teasing tone.

Ashwin gave a short sheepish smile as others laughed.

"Yenna sir, ore lover boy mode pola neengalum" Maha teased.

"Ama, avaru dha free ah iruka apo ellam phone um kai um ah dhana suthitu iruparu" Grace chipped in.

"Adhenna solluvaru" Gopi paused and then mimicked Ashwin, "Apdi illa ma, varen ma. Kochukadha ma, kuptu poren ma, kelambiten ma"

"Deii!" Ashwin wrapped his arm around Gopi's neck and playfully crushed him making everyone laugh.

"Aanalum ongaluku avanga mela bayam dhan polaye sir. Ipdi pammuringa" Azhar teased.

"Adhuku peru bayam ila Azhar" Ashwin said with a smile and looking at everyone, he added, "Adhulam oru paasam, oru affection uh. Ongaluku sonna puriyadhu"

"Oohhhh" The gang hooted and Ashwin rubbed his nape, blushing slightly.

"Heyy Sir vekka paduraru paarunga" Sakthi sang his words.

"Neenga dhan Sir pakka lover boy" Maha declared

"Na lover boy ah?" Ashwin chuckled.

"Pinna?"

Ashwin raised his hand up in surrender, "Aana namma Saravana avaluku lam na ila pa"

"Ada yean Sir neenga vera. Na lam avala paaka ava veedu mukku vara poven. Aprm bayama irukum nu apdiye cross panitu poeruve"

"Ada paavi" Ashwin laughed and said in a nostalgic tone, "Na lam ava veedu sevuru yeri kudhichu ava room balcony ku eri la poe pathutu vandhruken"

"Ohhhh" The gang hooted making Ashwin chuckle.

"Vera level uh Sir neenga"

"Sir onga love story solringala?" Maha initiated.

"Ama Sir, engalukum kekanum pola iruku" Sakthi added.

"Adhu-"

"Sir, please Sir ini onga kuda ipdi time kedaikadhu" Gopi whined and others joined him making Ashwin chuckle and agree.

"Seri, seri, solren" Ashwin said making himself comfortable on the chair. The squad kept their focus on them.

"Coimbatore la idho pakathula iruka KPSG college kula yelu varushathuku munna oru murder nadandhachu nyabagam iruka?"

"Rathnam thanna kolla vara thorathuna gumbal ta irundhu thapika college kula poe thappika patha apo, college kula avara verati kolla pananga" Ram said and added, "Neengalum Inspector Rakshan um handle panna case"

Ashwin nodded.

"Andha case investigation la yenna Sir achu?"

"Andha case apo dhan avala mudhal thadavaya pathen" Ashwin looked at them with a smile and added, "Enoda Sivaangi ah"
