As we landed, we headed to collect our bags. I couldn't help but share a bizarre comment I received: "Someone in my comments said that I am pregnant."
Leena's eyes widened, "Wait, what?"
Explaining the situation, I continued, "My friend Layla, who's kinda popular, posted about me on her story, and people started following me. A lot were commenting or texting me about being pregnant."
Walker chuckled, "Imagine, bro."
"Man, I just wanna sleep," I added, finding the whole situation more amusing than alarming.
Feeling the exhaustion, we grabbed our bags and took an Uber to the hotel. After checking in, the next thing I knew, I was deeply immersed in a much needed sleep, leaving the day's events behind.
The next morning, I felt someone shaking me. "Wake up, bro, it's time to wake up," Walker said, persistently trying to rouse me. I pushed him away and turned the other way.
"Last chance," he declared, grabbing a pillow and playfully slapping it at me. I retaliated by grabbing a pillow, and soon enough, we found ourselves on the floor, engaged in a friendly pillow fight, laughter filling the room.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"It's 11 am. We're going to brunch, but I don't think there'll be time for breakfast so it'll be lunch," Walker replied.
I nodded, grabbed my toiletries from my suitcase, and fetched my camera to vlog the day. Heading to the bathroom, I brushed my teeth, did my skincare routine, and brushed my hair, securing it with a claw clip. After that, I applied my makeup. Once ready, I searched for an outfit and settled on a high-neck white undershirt, a Camp Half-Blood shirt, and navy blue flared jeans.
opened my laptop and started editing my airport footage. Walker entered the room and informed me it was time to go, so I closed my laptop, threw on my black converse, donned my coat, grabbed my bag, and left with them.
During lunch, we explored a local diner. Walker shared, "I'm craving pancakes," and we all ordered various breakfast delights. As we ate, Leena asked, "What's your go-to comfort food?" Tanner replied with a grin, "Definitely pizza." "Wait no pizza doesn't sound like a comfort food. " I say. We started discussing comfort foods.
After lunch we roamed around NYC. Leena suggested, "Let's check out that bookstore," and we spent an hour discussing and recommending books. Walker found a biography he was excited about, and I picked up a novel Leena recommended. The day unfolded with a mix of casual exploration and engaging conversations
We returned to the hotel since Walker had an interview to attend. Meanwhile, Leena and I dressed up and headed to Times Square to capture some photos.
