Enzo p.o.v
Laus was her name, so I went to my technician and asked him to research her, there's not one million people out there with that name. I knew he could find her origins.
- Jack, I need you to find all you can on Laus Skelling.
My hand was leaning on his chair as I squinted my eyes. I really hoped to find out if she was, or not, a part of my world. Jack clicked out of his emails and went on a new site.
- Sure, let's see..
He went on the dark web and started looking her up. I stared at the wide screen as names and names scrolled. Some photos caught my eye but nothing exactly like her. All of a sudden...
- Stop.
Jack let go of the mouse to let me use it.
- That looks a lot like her...
A small photo was placed to the side of her name. Even though at the moment Laus looked tired and kinda beat up I could tell it was her.
- Alright so her name is Laus Skelling, she has brown hair, she is about 5'7 tall.
The technician named her whole description as things started to make sense. He proceeded:
- From Quebec, born in the Hôpital de «l'Enfant Jésus», uh... She went to Vision school, which explains why she's so fluid in english then she went to-
Everything started to align. I was getting impatient, so I cut him:
- Yeah yeah I got it.
That girl was telling the truth from the beginning. I had no more doubt about that, I still questioned him:
- Alright not bad, anything about a gang?
He clicked on her profile again.
- Nope her profile is clear capo.
- Good job man, I appreciate it.
Jack smiled as I tapped the back of his neck. Laus was a victim to all of what's happening. She didn't want anything to do with this but a problem still occurred. A problem that was too big to let her go, I couldn't risk letting her go and risk her getting interrogated by other gangs or even the fucking police.
- Laus knows too much.
I said to myself.
