"Are you okay? How do you feel?" Quilya asked in a soft voice, worried.

"Aeriah, okay ka lang? Anong nararamdaman mo?"

"Translator ka ba, Marreanne?"

"Shut up, Scarlette! Sapakin ko nguso mo, eh. Kontrabida."

Quilya is here?

How?

"I'm okay. My body's just a little heavy," I said.

"You did it, Aeriah," she said, lightly tapping my shoulders. "You saved them, you saved Treianes." Then her hand slowly reached out to my face, giving it a gentle brush.

"And you saved my brother," Scarlette added.

"How's he?" I asked.

"Unconscious, but he'll recover."

My body feels a little heavy. But at the same time, I feel a strange kind of energy coursing through my veins. It's like a current of electricity running through me, making my head spin wildly with all the pressure. I can sense that this energy holds tremendous power, but I have no idea how to unleash it. It's almost as if it's running rampant inside my body, making me feel dizzy and disoriented.

Is this how it feels to be a bearer of a judge's authority? To be a God? Or am I just too weak to carry all this weight?

I looked around. They're all staring at me. Marreanne looked a bit worn out. Cyrell stood still next to Scarlette, gazing silently at Marreanne who seemed to be recovering from something. Sensing the weight of Cyrell's eyes on her, Marreanne turned to her and offered a warm smile. "Don't worry," she said reassuringly, "I'll be fine. All I need is a basketful of sweet blueberries to cleanse me."

"Are you trying to rob the kid of her small harvest?" puna ni Scarlette.

"Bitch, shut up. I'll pay her for it naman. Duh," she rolled her eyes at her. And then stares back at Cyrell. "Fifty golds this time. No buts," Marreanne said with a wink.

"Really? Then I'll add thirty silvers."

"Deal? Or deal?"

"Ate naman, eh!"

"It's a win-win situation naman, 'di ba? You get fifty gold for the blueberries, I get to heal myself. So?

"The smoke will be cleared soon. Let's get out of the forest. Please lead the way, Cyrell," utos niya rito.

"Okay. Follow me. We'll take the shortest route back to the town," sabi niya at tsaka siya naunang naglakad. Tumingin si Quilya sa 'kin.

"Can you stand?"

I shook my head. "I can barely move."

"Then, I'll carry you. Hop on my back."
