[EP5] Dao's parents

Kluen couldn't help the smile that appeared on his face as he read Dao's message. It was kind of surreal that they were currently together. He couldn't believe the amount of people that gathered at his parents' hotel. Apparently his parents had won the bid to host this event where some bigshot celebrity was endorsing some product. They had even recruited Palm to be his bodyguard for the day. 

"So who is it this bigshot celebrity that they had invited?" Kluen asked Palm, thinking that he would know more than him since he was part of the security team for the event. 

"Ooh, it's Joong Archen, ex- celebrity and current CEO of JAA entertainments and Dunk Natachai, the infamous voice actor from Blizzard Entertainments. They no longer do public appearance, so for them to be able to agree to this is HUGE. Asking them to do an endorsement... this company must have spent a fortune on them" Just as Palm explained, he finally got a glimpse of them.

He couldn't help but zoom in on Dunk Natachai. There he was, his childhood celebrity crush. 

He remembered how he first got introduced to him and his voice. He had practically bought every anime, game that Dunk Natachai voice starred in, no matter how old it was. When he heard that there were footages of him during his short stint at JAA entertainments. He had grabbed it no matter how expensive it was to a kid. Now as he got older, he listened to his audio books. 

"Best to get a good look at them, they are your faen's parents. Better know who you need to butter up to. Huh, you kinda look like his Paaw, don't you? Daonuea definitely takes after his Pa."  Pond couldn't help but observe. That's when it hit Kluen, why Dao looked and sounded so familiar when he first saw him. He looked just like Dunk, maybe a little younger, more innocent looking and his voice perhaps an octave higher but the vibe was the same. He was such a fanatic fanboy then that he had even thought of marrying him. But when he looked at Dunk's interaction with Joong Archen, he knew he lost before he even begin. 

Dunk's smile was wide when he looks at him, he was so attentive to Dunk. 

He seemed very possessive of Dunk as well.

But most of all he looked happy.

He can understand why he chose to marry him.  

Perhaps celebrity crushes were what they were meant to be, just crushes. Daonuea was the better deal after all. He was someone that he can call his. He left with Palm as the event ended.

Dunk had caught a glimpse of Kluen turning. Joong had asked him what was it. 

"I think I saw someone who looked just like a younger version of you." Joong had laughed at what his sunflower had told him. 

"Are you claiming I'm old?" Dunk laughed at Joong's interpretation of what he said. He had been in the entertainment business where it was all about looks for more than a decade, he understands why he would think so. But he really don't think Joong had aged much in the time that they had been together. 

"You are never old in my eyes. You are the one and only one for me." He sneaked a quick peck to his lips before any media catches it. Joong smiled.

A/N: I have to say that this was a fun EP to write 🤣🤣🤣 Imagining Kluen fanboying over Dunk and only to realized that his faen is the son of his celebrity crush🤭🤭 I can't resist. 

It's challenging to make Joong and Dunk more mature than Kluen and Dao though they are essentially the same people. The video edit definitely helped set the tone. thanks to all the video edit guru on youtube. Do you all feel the difference?
