𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐞𝐠𝐠𝐬 𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐞 𝐋𝐨𝐜𝐤𝐰𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐦𝐚𝐝𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐢𝐫 𝐭𝐞𝐚, they were quiet for the most of it. The two were sitting next to each other at the dining table, legs pressed together in a jumble.
"I just realised we forgot something earlier," Lockwood said as he took a sip of his tea.
"We did?" Carolynne's brows pulled together until they softened when the realisation set in, "oh my God we did. Shit, shit, shit. No offence Ant, but I'm not ready for that-"
"Hey, hey, hey," Lockwood cooed gently as he put his tea down and held her face between his hands. "I'm not expecting you to, in fact just in case, I'll nip down to the pharmacy after my shower and I'll buy some....what is it? Plan B?"
"Sounds about right."
"Don't stress about it," he gently kissed her forehead.
Carolynne hummed gently, "okay."
"That's my girl."
The two returned to their comfortable silence as they finished their breakfast, just enjoying the company each other provided. When they were done Carolynne stood up and collected their plates and mugs before leaning down to kiss Lockwood's temple, "I'll let you get in the shower."
