𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐧𝐧𝐞 𝐰𝐚𝐬𝐧'𝐭 𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐧𝐝 it had only just turned off when there was a knock at the door. She wrapped the towel around her body before opening the door, she prayed it wasn't Lucy or George or the explanation to the bruises on her shoulders and neck was going to be very awkward.

Luckily, it was Lockwood standing there stunned.

Carolynne cocked an eyebrow, "please tell me you didn't just knock on the door in hopes of seeing me without clothes on."

Lockwood felt himself heat up, "I uhm I mean as delightful as that sounds Care no, maybe another time."

"Well?"

"Right," Lockwood cleared his throat, "how quickly do you think you can get dressed?"

"Quick, why?"

"We think George is in trouble."

Carolynne's entire demeanor shifted, "shit, what?"

"I'll explain in a bit, just please get dressed."

It took barely two minutes for Carolynne to change, the collar of the fittes white button up shirt covering most of the bruises. This gave a few minutes to spare to cover the one poking out and blast her hair with a hair dryer enough so it was no longer dripping wet. Lockwood came in and sat on her bed to explain what him and Lucy figured out with George during all this, before they both moved into the hall with Lucy to wait for the taxi.
