"so you down bad?" marcos asked me

"basically yeah," i chuckled.

"why don't you try and get her to like you?" he asked

"bruh did you not listen to me?" i ducked my
teeth at his dumbness. "ion think she'd ever look at me that way."

"make her."

"how?"

"she get jealous?"

"yeah."

"make her jealous."

"that's toxic as fuck."

"you not toxic?"

"nah. i just see things a different way."

"so why did you and jileany break up again?"

"shut your ass up."

"take her somewhere," he told me, "or buy her something"

"you know, im tryna buy a car. like for more space."

"shit let's go."

"you forreal. like don't play me"

"im dead serious."

"oh shit. any car?" i asked.

"any car."

i ran to my closet, picking out an outfit. i got these black wrangler jeans, a black proclub, and this red pro club jacket. i wore this with my black crocs

"so what car are you thinking of?" marcos asked, checking his phone.

"ion know. a f-150?" i baited. he better say  something good so i know my limits

"mane, get a hellcat or sum. ian bring you out here for no reason."

"maybe a stingray?"

"if they have it." he shrugged

saturdays were mad boring ever since i quit, and its been like a month or two so all i just do is rot in bed.

i have been watching mad movies though, the next one on my list is perks of a wallflower. i've ordered the book, i want to read it before watching it

i should ask sergio if he wants to hang out. i don't think mom would be too mad, she hasn't been a bad mood for long enough, thank God

i wanted to go to the movies. it's so fun and i haven't been in so long. but it's so cold there

better reason to dress cozy.

i thought of an outfit to pick. i really hoped mom
said yes because i really wanted to do this

i ran to her room, praying to God she'd say yes. "um mom?"

"hm?" she asked, watching some show

"may i please go to the movies with my friend?"

"which friend?" uh oh

"um sergio."

"the one who you went to his house?"

"yes. his brother will be there, he's 25." i knew his brother was in town, and mom liked an adult being there.

but i doubt his brother would act any adult like. from sergio and ms. cortez's words, 'all he does is play around.'
