Kim Dokja dodged Yoo Joonghyuks gaze. He hesitated as he looked around making sure nobody was nearby. The streets were quiet and the night air brushed warmly against his face. 

"Well, I was going to say.." Kim Dokja's voice trailed off his stomach fluttered as the words refused to come out. 

"Mhm." Yoo Joonghyuk said quietly. 

Kim Dokja cleared his throat. "I appreciate having you around." Kim Dokja admitted softly, his cheeks tinting. "Not just in battles, just in general..you make things interesting. Kim Dokja looked up at Yoo Joonghyuk. 

"Interesting?" Yoo Joonghyuk asked. 

"You're not as bad as you seem."

Yoo Joonghyuk remained silent. 

"What is he thinking right now?" Kim Dokja thought. 

"You're not bad too." Yoo Joonghyuk mumbled hiding his face from Kim Dokja. 

Kim Dokja felt encouraged by his partners words. "I guess I see you as more as a companion." Kim Dokja sucked in his breath immediately regretting his confession. 

Yoo Joonghyuks usual composed face was flushed. 

"I'm sorry, I got carried away just for-" Kim Dokja was cut off. 

Yoo Joonghyuk was lightly holding onto his hand. 

"..get it?" Kim Dokjas eyes widened at the sudden movement. 

"I uhm.." Yoo Joonghyuk let his hand linger on Kim Dokjas before he let go. 

"Same." he said finally. 

"What?" Kim Dokja looked at him blankly. 

Yoo Joonghyuk looked to the side. "Same." he repeated his voice quiet. 

"Same??" Kim Dokja stared at Yoo Joonghyuk. 

Yoo Joonghyuk glared at him. 

"What does same mean, does that mean he.." 

"Pfft!" Kim Dokja laughed making Yoo Joonghyuk glare deepen. 

The unexpected laughter caught Yoo joonghyuk off guard his angry expression breaking for a moment. 

"Same?" Kim Dokja repeated as his laughter subsided. Yoo Joonghyuk averted his gaze embarrassed. 

"You know what I mean." 

Kim Dokja eyes softened as he caught Yoo Joonghyuks gaze. "I'm glad." he smiled brightly. 

Yoo Joonghyuk turned his head away as if he were annoyed. 

"Soo are we officially dating?" Kim Dokja asked teasingly. 

Yoo Joonghyuk clasped his hand over Kim Dokjas mouth. 

"Don't get carried away." he scowled. 

Kim Dokja grabbed Yoo Joonghyuks hand off his mouth. "You're not too good at this." Kim Dokja grinned.

"Kim Dokja likes me?" the thought rushed in his head. 

His mind was a frenzy it was a miracle he didn't show it in front of Kim Dokja. 

As Kim Dokja laughed a familar feeling of warmth spread through Yoo Joonghyuk. "How could someone like him, like me?" Yoo Joonghyuk thought dully. 

"I'm glad." Kim Dokja smiled, his smile seemed to break Yoo Joonghyuks demeanor. 

He looked so ethereal as his eyes softened at Yoo Joonghyuk. 

His eyes were full of amusement. 

"Soo are we officially dating?" Kim Dokja asked. 

"Dating." the word seemed foreign, Yoo Joonghyuk never thought he would even come close to liking someone like Kim Dokja.

 He quickly clasped his hand over Kim Dokjas mouth stopping him from saying anything embarrassing.

 "Don't get carried away." he scowled. 

"Dating huh." he smiled at the thought. 

"Oh?" Kim Dokja grinned slyly. Yoo Joonghyuk frowned making Kim Dokja laugh. 

"Ooh whats happening here?" Han Sooyoung floated down towards them grinning. 

"Han Sooyoung!" Kim Dokja stared at her.

 "Don't worry I only heard about..half of it." she laughed. Yoo Joonghyuk looked murderous as Han Sooyoung laughed. 

"Dating now?" she said her grin widening. 

"I never thought our Kim Dokja would be able to date someone." 

Kim Dokja glared at her. 

"Much less an angel." Yoo Joonghyuk scowled at her, but Han Sooyoung remained unfazed.

 "Alright I can tell I'm not wanted here." she put up her hands and backed away. 

"Im gonna tell everyone you know now, bye bye lovebirds!" she flew away before Kim Dokja could say anything. 

"I don't like her." Yoo Joonghyuk glared at Han Sooyoungs fading image. 

"Don't worry you'll get used to her." Kim Dokja said.

 Yoo Joonghyuk looked up at the now rising sun. For the first time in a while he felt a little excited about his future. His new future with Kim Dokja.
