5 YEARS LATER...
"What an another successful mission Detective Hyacinth. You never fail to amuse me." Agad na bati ng boss ko sa secret agency na pinagtatrabahuan ko ngayon.
"Thank you boss." I answered. I pressed a button under my desk to activate the noise cancelling protection of the office. It's been 5 years and I've been collecting the broken pieces of me and binding it together. Wala akong maalala sa nakaraan ko but my brothers seem to tell me that I'm better off without knowing my past. Is it that horrible?
I shrugged off the thought out of my mind. It's been 5 years that I left the Philippines and waking up from the coma. Sabi nila it's a miracle that I've been alive after all. Gustong gusto Kong maalala ang nakaraan ko but it seems that my family is against it. Right now I am a detective and working for my father's secret agency. Though this is not just my life now.
"Stop calling me boss, Anak. Tayo lang namang dalawa sa loob ng opisina mo. Isa pa, I'm sure you activated the noise cancelling features of your office kaya di tayo maririnig sa labas." He said as a matter of fact. Ewan ko ba. I just still can't get over being a technological nerd after many years as what my brothers would usually say.
"So, why don't we celebrate Anak? I'll call your brothers to pick up the kids and let's go have dinner outside." My dad suggested.
"Sure Dad-" bago pa ako tuluyang makasagot, we were interrupted by one of my agents.
"Detective Hyacinth, there was an underground transaction of drugs in an abandoned building near Phase 2 cornerlot 56 reported by Detective Parker." Report ng agent sa akin. Tiningnan ko si daddy and smiled at him.
"Anak, why don't you just focus on being a Prin-" I immediately stood up cutting the conversation and ran towards the door.
"Go call them daddy. Text me the address and I'll be there soon." I said and left in a hurry.
Nang makarating kami sa mismong Lugar ng pangyayari. Ginawa ng agents ang kaniya kaniya nilang gawain. Habang naghihintay ako sa loob ng sasakyan. Waiting for my go signal.
Nang narinig Kong nagkakaputukan na sa loob agad kong sinuot ang gear ko at lumabas. My agents are all fighting so it's about time na ako naman.
"Look who's here, Agent Hyacinth?" The old man mocked me.
"I'll let you choose. You will surrender or fight?" I asked.
Agad nila akong sinugod. I started punching each bastard coming my way.
"Fuck!" Mura ko ng maramdaman kong may humawak sa buhok ko. Agad kong hinead but ang lalaki sa likod ko at pinatumba siya gamit ang mga paa ko. Tumayo ako at agad na inayos ang buhok ko.
"Not my hair you bastard!" I shouted at him bago siya pinaputukan ng bala sa ulo.
Uminit ang ulo ko ng makitang wala na ang druglord sa harapan ko kanina. I smirked ng makita kong wala ang bag ng perang pinadala ko sa agent kanina habang nag tatransaksyon Sila. Iisang lalaki nalang ang natitirang handang sumugod sa akin but before he could run towards me tumalikod na ako sa kanya at hinanap ang drug lord.
I whistled while staring at my watch kung saan nakikita ko ang direskyon ng druglord. Prenteng Naglakad lang ako papunta sa helipad kung saan Sila papunta ngayon. I saw 2 men waiting for the bastard.
Agad ko silang niligpit at nagbihis ng pang pilot na damit na suot nila. Their blood is still on the uniform but I don't fucking care.
I stood there waiting for the druglord. I smirked when I saw him walking with just one bodyguard with him. With all smiles. Pero bago pa man Sila umabot sa helicopter binaril niya ang sarili niyang bodyguard at nagmamadaling pumunta sa akin.
Agad akong sumakay sa helicopter at minaneho ito. Good thing that my kuya Matthew taught me to manuever one.
Kitang kita ko ang saya niya habang binubuksan ang smuggled na perang Dala Dala niya. Who would have thought that Druglords are easy to fool.
"Don't you know that there is a place good for people like you?" Tanong ko sa kanya.
"Would you like me to take you there?" I asked.
"Go, take me there." I smirked. Okay. Your wish is my command.
Agad ko siyang dinala sa crater. At first hindi niya maintindihan ang dahilan ng pagdala ko sa kanya doon. So I dropped something on the crater.
Kitang kita kung paanong unti unting na trigger ang lava sa nito. Kitang kita ko kung paanong nanlaki ang mata ng drug lord mula sa salamin.
"Take me away from here. I don't wanna die yet." He appealed.
"You ruined a lot of life by selling drugs. Pero Hindi lang Yan ang ginawa mo! You sold girls to old men against their will, you took videos and spread it on the internet and made money out of it. So, when you told me to bring you to the place good for people like you. I can only think of this place." Saad ko sa kanya. I saw how horrified he is.
"Who are you really?" He asked.
"Good thing you asked for that. I'm Hella, your worst nightmare." I said and stood up. I unbuckled his belt and threw his money on the lava. He shouted in disbelief.
"How could you!" He angrily shouted at me. I smirked.
"Don't worry. You'll be next." And with that I pushed him down the flaming lava. I heard him shout in pain but vanished afterwards.
"Now, justice is served." I said. And manuevered the helicopter back to the base.
Nang bumaba ako mula sa helicopter, agad akong sinalubong ng mga agents.
"Ibang klase ka talaga Agent Hyacinth!" Saad ng Isang agent sa akin. I just looked at her without any emotions but she still smiled at me. After what happened 5 years ago, I've been guarding my emotions to protect myself. Kaya maliban sa pamilya ko, my employees never saw me with emotions. Siya ang pinakabatang secret agent na sumali sa grupo namin.
"You rocked that one, detective." Saad naman ni Cassandra. She's under the intelligence department with me back then. Until I chose to finally become a detective.
"She's really scary at times."
"Yeah, but she's so cool."
"She's named after Hades'daughter after all."
"I really admire her a lot."
" I agree, a girl in this kind of field is absolutely a change in the system and shes just spent 2 years in this job!"
They complimented.
"Agents" I called their attention. Agad naman silang pumunta sa harapan ko.
"It's been a long day for everyone. But I commend you for a job well done." Agad namang nagpalakpakan ang lahat.
"Now, let's go back to the headquarters and you can now go home. Dismiss." I said with finality and left.
I drove towards my office to change into a dress for dinner. Nakatanggap naman ako ng mensahe kay daddy sa location ng restaurant. I need to hurry up. They are all waiting for me.
Hindi ko namalayang hinawakan ko na pala ang kwintas na suot ko. I smiled bitterly.
"I hope you're proud of me, my little blip of sunshine in heaven." I uttered.
