Prologue

(Aurora's pov)
New York
2012

I walk up to the door of my apartment while carrying groceries in one hands and fishing for my keys in purse with the other. I finally find my keys and go to unlock my door but I find that the door is already unlocked and is cracked open a smidge.

"What the hell" I whisper to my self

Immediately I'm put on edge. So I gently kick the door open with my shoe and ready my self for any sort of attack as I begin to walk in. But when I enter my dark apartment looking around for not only anyone but also my cat. Then I see a figure sitting on my couch then they speak.

"You know you shouldn't leave your door unlocked, that dangerous" The voice says as they turn on the lamp next to the couch.

"Oh my god Nat" I gasp while clutching my chest after being startled. She chuckled and smirked.

"What are you doing here?" I ask going to set my groceries down on my kitchen counter. I also notice my cat Pickles sitting on her lap.

"Well I wish I was here on better circumstances and but fury needs your help." She said handing me a file

I grab the file and pause. I look at the file and start reading the contents and I am met with a picture of an admittedly handsome man with long black hair and striking eyes. When Nat bringing to fill me in.

"His name is Loki and he claims he's from Asgard" Natasha begins when I interrupt

"Wait like Asgard, Asgard" I ask quirking a brow

She give me a look and I hold in a giggle as she continues.

"S.H.E.I.LD seems to place his next ware abouts in Germany. And Fury wants to know if you would go" she finishes the last part with a smirk while holding up a long dark green sparkly dress. The continues

"I know its not quite your color" she says commenting on the dress

I take a deep breath and smile and grab the dress

"When do I start?" I ask I smirk
