~Eraserheads POV~

"Hey, Aizawa?" Detective Tsukauchi called me over. "We arrested an illegal quirk user this morning, but he refuses to answer any questions. We noticed he was wearing Eraserhead merch, so maybe he will cooperate if you are there? Mind staying for a while?"

I paused. As far as I know, I only have one fan. "What's his name?"

"Shinsou Hitoshi." Naomasa replied. "Why, you know him?"

"Sort of." I sighed. "Never thought he of all people would end up as a villain though. Not with his brother watching over."

"Brother? Isn't his brother dead?" The detective asked curiously.

I froze. Dead?

"So you didn't know." Tsukauchi murmured. "Still, will you go see him?"

"Sure." I answered curtly. "Which room?"

"Interrogation room six."

I left without a word, silently stalking through the hallways of the police station. My mind repeated the same thing, over and over. Shinsou Ryujiki is dead. I shook my head violently, trying to break the endless cycle.

I didn't even know the damn kid, why am I so pissed?

Well, I guess it is my job.

Before I knew it, I was standing in front of room six, my hand resting on the handle. I stood still, listening to my own quiet breathing.

With a final sigh, I entered the room.

How much time has it been since I last saw him? Three years, was it?

"Hello, Shinsou Hitoshi." I greeted him.

Wow, I sound much calmer than I really am.

"How are you?"

~Hitoshi's POV~

I blinked once. Twice.

What the hell is Eraserhead doing here?

My idol coughed, sitting himself on the other side of the table awkwardly. I didn't say anything.

"I didn't know about your brother." He began. "How long?"

I didn't reply, simply observing his every move. A small twitch here, a blink there.

"Listen. I was told you used your quirk illegally." He continued. "Detective Tsukauchi will be here for your questioning soon. But first I want to ask you something."

I narrowed my eyes, not blinking once since he asked about my brother.

Eraserhead seemed to take my lack of response as a yes.

"Why?" He asked.

Why what? Why did I use my quirk illegally? Why did I not tell you about his kidnapping? Why I didn't protect Ryu? Why I'm such a failure?

As if reading my mind, he clarified. "Why did you use your quirk?"

Silence stretched out. I saw Eraserhead about to give up before I finally spoke.

"He got kidnapped the day you took him to the hospital."

The heroes head snapped up, his eyes widening ever so slightly. But it was enough to urge me to continue.

"I was getting ready for bed because I thought he would spend the night at the hospital. Suddenly I heard his voice, screaming my name. Not my nickname. My name. I rushed outside and saw him a few houses away, sprinting towards me. The villain who was chasing him finally grabbed him, making him scream again. I saw another villain further away. I used my quirk on the one who was holding my brother. His mind w-was awful. I couldn't h-hold o-on. Soon enough th-they disappeared with my b-brother, leaving me alone on the s-street. It has been th-three years s-since then."
