CHAPTER 9

-THE NEXT DAY - AFTER COLLEGE LECTURES WERE OVER-

NAIRA'S POV 

College lectures were over, I was now respected in the entire college
Me and Shruti were about to leave the college grounds to reach home when we saw the college girls and boys crowding over one particular place or rather, they were crowding over one particular person. I couldn't see who it was when shruti speaks out loud. Loud enough for the people surrounding that man to hear!

Shruti :- HAVE I SEEN THIS GUY? (she nudges me while she speaks)
the crowd moved from the person when I saw Sameer standing there waiting there to pick us up.

He strode towards me while shruti was giggling with excitement.
He wore a black suit today , neatly combed hair ,a Rolex on his hand and of course he carried an aura of dominance around him as he came near me.
He literally looked as if he came out of one of those Kdramas or Thai dramas I had recently watched.

He looked exactly like Naina's Sameer in "Un dinon ki baat hai", Sameer Ahuja was my Salman and Sameer Maheshwari was Naina's Salman!

Sameer came towards me and spoke.

Sameer :- how was college today ?

Naira :- it was good but why do you ask?

Sameer :- I cant talk here with all those girls screaming on top of their voices
chalo lets GO somewhere peaceful

Naira :- but I have assignments to submit and tests to study for tomorrow.

he ignores what I said and pulls me along with him

Naira:- I am serious Sameer, I cant go anywhere out toda-

he turned around and stepped closer and the lifted me up bridal style

Naira :- put me down Sameer!!

Sameer:- no I will put you down on my bed after our marriage.

Naira:- Sameer put me down everyone is looking at us!

Sameer :- let them look at us , after all they should know who Naira Singh belongs to now, and everyone loves us as a couple so I don't mind!

I saw shruti giving me a thumbs up instead of helping me while Sameer put me in the car
I wanted to kill Shruti so bad right now! 

He gently helped me into the seat next to him, and He drove the car at a high speed on an empty road. Sameer was driving really fast, and just when I was going to ask him to slow down, he did.
how did he know what I was thinking?

Sameer:- your face told me what you wanted...

After a short while, we arrived at a fancy restaurant, and Sameer led me inside. It was incredible! The chairs, the yummy smell, the lights, and the food! But, oh my, why is the food so expensive?

Naira :- What type of restaurant is this ??!!! do they sell diamonds ??!!! why is the food soo expensive??
Sameer burst out laughing and signaled the waiter to get the dishes that he had already placed an order for.

Naira :- why did you bring me to a restaurant to talk?

Sameer:- I brought you here so that I can apologize you for everything and start everything again. I wanted a perfect moment to tell you everything and upon knowing that you love food , I couldn't help but think about restaurants and food to tell you everything I wanted to share with you!

Naira paid attention to what he was saying now. He sighed and looked into her eyes

Sameer :- I am so sorry for threatening to kill you naira that day.. I cannot kill a beautiful soul like you.
Actually I was mad that because you always came in between the fights and get hurt. So to avoid you getting any more trouble , I scared you a little. But the next day I regretted scaring you like that. I came on my mission to catch those bullies and take revenge for my younger brother Suraj , I didn't have a single ounce of idea what was going on..
he never shared anything with me
every time I asked him if he was ok.. he replied with a sad monotonous " I am ok brother " and left for his room
but I could see it in his eyes that he was not ok
his eyes had bags underneath them
he was not eating well and I always heard him cry at night. He always told me that he wanted to become like me.. strong and powerful so he hid everything from us. He took this cruel step because of those bitches. They hid it soo well.. they hid what Arjun did to my brother so nothing was ever known that such a thing happened in their college. Tell me Naira.. how could I have patiently sit in my cabin and watch all this ridiculous drama happen when my brother died in front of me and I could not do anything about it..

so I took admission in the college to find out everything myself . and kept my identity hidden, so that no one suspects me, I got bullied everyday and carried out my mission to find each and everyone who was the reason for my brother's death.. but then I met you! Who asked you to be bullied with me ?that is what made me mad. Do you know how much I hated when you were being bullied with me? Stupid . The punches those 21 year olds gave me were nothing kitten. I have been in many fights deadlier than these....

I couldn't help but start crying at his confessions
I held his hand firmly and said

Naira :- You wanted to tell me something.. I want to confess something too .....I was there on the terrace that day when your brother fell from the terrace
I saw arjun bully him

Sameer shot up his face and looked towards me

Sameer (crying) :- why didn't you help?!

Naira :- I couldn't he had left the railing when I reached there , I only heard the conversations before I actually ran towards the place screaming his name
I had helped your brother too from arjun and Rivaj but he was not strong enough to hold the mental trauma... He shared everything with me...
I was his trusted friend. My soul had left me that day when I couldn't save a brother like friend.
I had seen Myself in Suraj , I was able to relate to him so we became friends really quickly , he was happy when we were with him

but when he took that drastic step, I cried the hardest that day because I failed to protect the other me
I failed as a friend.... 

I turned towards arjun after we saw what had happened and he threatened me that if I said anything, he will r...rape me...
I couldn't help your brother Sameer
I couldn't get him to justice
and with that I broke into tears, I knew after the truth he will hate me , he left my hand and got up from the chair


and came and hugged me?!

Sameer :- you gave him happiness?

I nodded a yes to him

Sameer :- thankyou for giving him that
did you know he did like you too for your kindness but I feel like I am sabotaging my brother's feelings

Naira :- what .. do .. you .. mean?

Sameer :- You were the only one who stood against the bullies. Then how can I not fall for a beauty with an angelic heart? I already called you Mrs . Ahuja when you shifted with me a few days ago. I just don't know when I started growing feeling for you.
his voice became softer as he still held me in his tight arms...

His confession gradually took me a minute to realize ? DID HE JUST CONFESS TO ME THAT HE LIKES ME?

Sameer :- I love you Naina Singh. I know you like me soo.. will you become my Mrs. Ahuja?

My eyes widened! How did he know that I liked him ? my heart starting thumping in my chest

Naira :- who.. told I liked you ? are .. you making up stories ??

he laughed

Sameer :- Oh I am not dumb.. I just found about it with my instincts .But you can confirm it right now so let me ask again
DO YOU LIKE ME MS NAIRA?

Naira :- Ummm..aaaaa....

He was already hugging me and then he found an opportunity and kissed me on my lips
and it was passionate! But I didn't kiss him back, I liked playing hard to get ;)
He left me with a sad pout 

Sameer :- why didn't you kiss me back? Don't you like me??

I was left off guard by his questions and the kiss! He is such a tease. He is so weird!
he can act cute , deadly , innocent , handsome and what not with the same face!

Naira :- I do like you Sameer
I liked you ever since you first stepped in the classroom.

Shruti used to tease me " every other girl runs behind boys with red flags and here you are running behind a guy with a green flag" but who knew my guy is a mixture of both!

I liked you for months Sameer

so when you said I wasn't helping , I was heartbroken but if that would lead to you catching feeling for me, I wouldn't have minded it earlier

Sameer :- oh come on stop teasing me like this!!
naira makes a face and Sameer runs behind her when he catches her and pins her onto the wall

Sameer :- now you cant run anywhere else Naira Ahuja

Sameer :- I love you too ! Wait what!!! Again??? Really?? You are allowed to make a joke once!! 

Naira :- I fooled you again tho and you call yourself a mafia ??!!! ( Laughs while tickling him) 

A FEW YEARS LATER

Sameer's Pov

 Naira and I married a year ago when she turned 25 

Both of us were fortunate to welcome twins into our family this year, in the delightful month of April. We embraced a baby boy, whom we lovingly named Suraj, and a beautiful baby girl, whom we joyfully named Samaira.

Samaira is a vibrant child, full of life just like her mother, but she inherited my spirited attitude and, interestingly, my eyes as well. Meanwhile, Suraj embodies Naira's eyes, her attitude, and, undoubtedly, my distinctive looks.

Sameer :- Naira became a well-known author and a loving wife and a beautiful mother. I am happy to have met her!
