A FEW DAYS LATER

Naira Pov

It's been a few days since I spoke to Sameer. He was silent as usual. but surprisingly Rivaj and Rohan don't bully him anymore. I wonder if they are planning on doing something to teach him a lesson.

I was taking my food on my plate in the cafe along with shruti.

Shruti: - " hey you know Sameer has become famous among the college girls since that incident. Look some girls are even trying to talk to him and seduce him"!

I averted my gaze in that direction where shruti was looking. Yes, he was surrounded by some girls who wanted to eat with him. I was having an unbothered facial expression, but I was feeling jealous (yeah jealous in a one-sided crush)

Naira: -: they better stay away from him. he will bury them alive. "

I mumbled to myself but shruti heard it.

Shruti: - why would he bury them alive? And are you not going to keep those girls away from Sameer?"

Naira: - huh? oh I don't want to get into any more trouble

Shruti: - but don't you like him? You even stood up for him every time they bullied him.

Naira: - yes, I do! What am I supposed to do when he doesn't feel the same? now stop talking and let's eat.

We sat on a table near to the cafeteria door and away from Sameer's table.

While we were peacefully eating our food, a large bang in the cafeteria startled all the students.

I didn't really care, but when I glanced up, I noticed all the students in the cafeteria looked scared. Some of them were even shaking.

I wanted to see who it was when shruti said it in a whisper.

Shruti: - A..Arjun ? he is back !!"

Naira: - he is never good news!"

I turned back and saw Arjun, our other classmate and leader of the bullies who came to college after a whole damn month.

He is the trustee's niece and the principle's son and is not afraid of anyone. Everyone stopped doing whatever they were doing. It was like they were frozen in time. Arjun had an angry look on his face which meant nothing, but another beating is meant for someone here. he grabbed a student's hair and pushed him out of his way. He went to another boy named Aarish...

Arjun used to bully Aarish before Sameer stepped in the college.

Arjun strode towards Aarish, dragged him by his hair and brought him in front of Sameer.

Arjun suddenly took Sameer's plate and hit it over Aarish's head as the whole cafeteria gasped in fear.

I knew he was trying to show his power in front of Sameer, but Sameer had no expression on his face, and he seemed unbothered.

Arjun was glaring at him, clearly angry at Sameer now.

I could hear the faint whispers of the students.

student 1: - no way Sameer can get away from arjun now.

student 2: - yeah, he is extremely dangerous and strong.

student 3: - if something happens, arjun's dad will cover it up for him anyways, he is a principle's son after all.

student 4: - Arjun is not going to forgive Sameer now.

I saw arjun looking at Sameer.

Arjun: - so this is the ASSHOLE whom I'm hearing stories about? huh.
