Jennie's pov
"lisa do you think you'll forget about me after this?"
she looks at me and give me a confused look and smile afterwards, she was about to answer when the door behind us opened
"oops, sorry to ruin the moment i brought the wine glasses!" jisoo said while showing us the glasses that she's holding and smile teasingly
jisoo's followed by rosè and she's giving me a stink eye, and i know for sure she smell something fishy
i widen my eyes to protest cause God know that chae's thinking of something worst than what happened
chae sit beside me and i already know that she's gonna ask me
"you slut oh my gosh, you were about to kiss?!?" she whispered and smile at me widely, i quickly look at her and lightly slap her arm
"of course not! oh gosh you're unbelievable" i rolled my eyes and look at lisa beside me, talking to jisoo about some sports
she's close to me, our shoulders brushing each other. our hands is resting at my lap while she's sitting in the same position as me, our pinkies touching and i look at chae again who keeps smiling teasingly
"I won't tell the media that jennie kim is having a huge crush on a girl who took her to an unexpected trip and is super hot" i scoffed and try to change the topic because i know all of this is nonsense
maybe i like her as a friend, or like a sister i never had! or a cousin? I'm not that sure
me and chaeyoung are now talking about a fashion runway in milan, italy and she's asking me if I'm gonna attend
"yeah of course, Gigi Hadid will be there. who am i to miss that opportunity" she shrugged and took a sip of her wine
"meh, it's all right. i mean even if you don't attend to that runaway, I'm pretty sure you can meet miss Hadid elsewhere" she cleared her throat once again, she put down her glass and look at me seriously
"what?" i ask her innocently
"what will happen after this?" she ask me and all i can do is shrugged, drank my wine straight
"c'mon jen, you're gonna go back to seoul like nothing happened?"
"probably, i mean you got it undercover" she nods and shrugged as well
"well what about miss mustang there?" she subtly points to lisa with her eyes and i look at lisa discretely
"what about her?"
"are you ready to forget about her and still act like nothing happened?" i look at her with furrowed eyebrows
"why do i need to forget about her, rosè?" i look at her seriously and she sighs and show me her phone with me in a car with lisa, smiling widely
"there's too many rumors about you and lisa, some says you guys are dating. some were positive and some were negative about the spreading rumors" i almost choke on my own saliva and took her phone to look at the picture with a description saying
"the famous it girl and model jennie kim has been spotted in a car with a mystery girl, some locals who saw them said that they look like couples, the two were headed to busan; for more information, click the link below"
shit. shit shit
i look at chaeyoung with worried plastered on my face, she give me a light tap on my shoulder and smiled warmingly
"it's fine, i got it undercover. as you said!"
" how? how is it all fine? what if mom found out about this? I'm pretty sure she'll push me more to hanbin and the next thing i know, next week I'll be in the altar with him"
" well, about that. expect a call from aunt" i sighed loudly and push my hair back in frustration
what will happen now? I'm so fucked
lisa seems to notice me, she turn her body facing me and gently brush my shoulder, she's gently calming me down
"hey, what's wrong?" i look at her and her eyes is screaming worry
i shook my head and that's when rosè step in to answer lisa, because she knows I can't talk to lisa about it
"well look at this" she show the screen of her phone to lisa and in just a minute her eyes widen up with her mouth hung open
"so how? how can we fix this?" she ask rosè worriedly, that made jisoo look our way with a curiousity plastered on her face
"what's up?" she asked lisa and tap her on the shoulder
"Jennie's had been followed and they thought we're dating, if hanbin saw this, this will be the start of world war 3" jisoo rub her forehead and release a sigh
"don't worry too much about him, he's fine. and puh-leas it's not like he's the only one matter here, what about you? jennie?" she looks at lisa then me
"i got it covered, guys. told some press that we will not be answering to their questions and you guys are not dating" i release a sigh and smile at chaeyoung
"thanks hubby" i pouted and she just flipped me off
"I'm your personal assistant, that's my job."
"how about mom? what should i tell her?" rosè just sighed and smile later on
"how about that depends on you, besides you can tell her that lisa is a brüschweiler too! that's enough to put her at ease" i nodded and jisoo and lisa seems to agree on the idea
" well now that's settled, we should be resting. tomorrow morning will be flying out of here" jisoo said and stand up, grabbing her wine glasses
"make sure to put your glasses in the sink!" she told us while she got inside, just a second later rosè is already behind her
me and lisa looks at each other and i don't know what's happening but we somehow laugh
" I can't believe someone will actually think you'll date someone like me" she told me and close the gap between us, making us sit to each other much closer
"well, I'll be happy to date you"
shit, why did i said that. words are hanging in the back of my mouth, i cleared my throat while lisa is smiling teasingly at me
"i mean, someone like you" she nodded but her grin is still plastered on her face
"I can't blame you, ma'am. everybody wants to date me" she put her arms in the back of her head and smiling at me
such a dork.
