Beginning another Journey

Chaewon's POV:

It was another jam packed day with IZ*ONME, promoting our final album under WM was something we didn't quite prepare for so the songs in this album didn't sound like a proper goodbye, instead the whole album was called Act IV: One-Reeler and the title track Panorama was us talking about reaching for something better and bigger and that we were making a promise to our WHIZONEs to hold onto our memories it was an impromptu song we made for our WHIZONEs, it was a promise we would carefully grant no matter if it took years to grant. We led a busy life doing our own things, three would get into acting, seven would act part time and the rest will become either a soloist or thrive in their new group. Yuri and I plan to launch our solo careers and producing careers if ever we are lucky. We already finalized what each of us wanted to do at the company, I wanted to produce and write songs and be a vocal coach. Yuri will be a soloist who self-produces her own stuff. All we needed now is to go and finish this promotion and get on with our plans. The company will quietly announce our departure and in a month's time we will launch ourselves as a new company and restart our journey. It felt surreal and almost like my tummy is currently filled with butterflies fluttering and waiting to be set free from my stomach. We needed to finish the last mini album promotions with three weeks left on the calendar everyone was giddy and excited. It was chaotic in the green room where Yuri and the rest of the team are currently. Everyone was bickering normally as they were, everyone was teasing and bickering and making up shortly thereafter. I was just sitting and watching everyone bicker and make up. The elders were already getting their make-up done, I was waiting for my turn to get make up done, Yuri was busy teasing Minjoo, Minjoo was always the quiet young woman that she is would like to be left alone but ⅔s of JoYuRiz was giving her a teasing. Which the two always loved to do with Minjoo, there was no excuses as to why they always gang up on Minjoo, they just do because they find Minjoo cute when she's about to cry or when she cries. Minjoo always cries so easily that she gets teased a lot to the point of crying, but she's the strongest and most diligent member of our team, she always danced up to Chaeyeon's standards and was always an introvert who doesn't like to play with the 01s line, her same age friends in the team always regarded her with so much respect and listens to her well being the Unnie of Maknae and 01s line my brat Yuri is the only person who doesn't let her breathe in the 01s line, Hii and Nako-chan were good kids,

Kku Eomma raised them well, they knew when to stop teasing and they always followed Minjoo's orders when the Unnie line had to be working longer hours than the maknae line. The Entertainment Industry had certain rules for artists to follow, such as members aged 18 and below are not allowed to stay past 10 p.m. on concerts and other 'Official' functions such as award shows where we have appearances. The maknae line weren't allowed to do heavy chores as well so the heavy chores were divided amongst us Unnies. The only thing we ask of our maknaes was to sleep as soon as they are done with their homework for school, we also ask them to segregate the trash and dispose them down the chute, we also ask them to reheat their food if we were out working, wash and dry the dishes themselves only if they're the only ones left at the dorm. I used to be tasked to stay put with them and baby sit the maknae line in the beginning of our first few months but because I was one of the well-known members, Minjoo assumed responsibility despite her not belonging to the Maknae line and was considered an Unnie because of her early birthday, she loved the maknae line and was always there for the maknaes. Kku Eomma and Chaen always cooked for the team and packed them in bento boxes especially for days when the Unnies had a packed schedule. Kku Eomma was like an Eomma for the whole team, she cooks an awful lot of food together with Eunbi Unnie who was like a secondary Mother to us, most times Chaen was the one who packs the meals in bento boxes, she adds fruits each member liked and for the maknaes including Minjoo she sneaks in a surprise underneath the peeled fruits, a handful of their favorite gummy or chocolate pieces. Because for her a surprise would never hurt anyone. She was like the Appa of our team, she gives us everything she could and her strictness when it came to performance had deeper roots, stemming from her personal experiences as a JYP trainee where she trained for two years before leaving for WM, JYP had rigorous training, their day starts at 5 a.m. and ends at 2 a.m. Each day was filled with training and classes for languages and foreign culture. WM had none, everything was self-study, I had to learn how to read and write Nihongo for our Japanese Debut, the three Japanese women were very patient with teaching us. Whenever we had questions about their language they answered and took time to explain when to say it and what tone to use.
