I mean it

(A/N) This imagine is a bit different then my others, considering its written in 1st person, but I hope y'all still like it! ^^

I've always had, and always will be afraid of the word "love".

It just freaks me out, if I am truly honest.

I mean, when you say "I love you" to someone, you're basically admitting that you care of them. Alot.

And that could be pretty scary.

Sure, I say it to my parents all the time. But I'm not scared to say it to them; you shouldn't be, anyway.

You trust them. And they trust you. They love you back just as much as you love them-- probably more.

But for other people? Other people who you have gotten to know?

People today use the word "love" so loosely now. And soon enough, it's going to stop meaning something.

And maybe it's bad to say that when someone who I have come to know says that they love me, I want to shrink up into a little speck of dust and float away.

It's not that I don't feel the same way it's just...

Do they really mean it?

Do they actually love me, or is it just some sort of act to help boost my self esteem?

Maybe I need to learn to just use the "love" as loosely as other people.

But then again, people who don't are rare, aren't they?

My phone buzzed, leaving me to reach over to the coffee table where I had left it.

NOW;

(Y/N) you are actually so bad at replying to texts.

Oops. Sorry Conrad. What's up?

Can I come over? I'm boreeed...

So whenever you're bored you come to me? Ouch.

No! If I was bored, you'd probably be the reason for it.

Hey!

Kidding, kidding. Can I, though?

Under one condition.

Which is?

You bring me Starbucks.

Really?

Yes, really. I've been busy. I couldn’t go out and get me any yet.

Fine. Since I'm so nice I'll get you some.

I'll pay you back.

No you won't.

You have no faith! I will!

Can I trust you?

I think so.

Do you want the usual?

Yes please!

Mkaay. I'll be there soon. You better help me out of my boredom funk.
