Valentines Day~
--
RILEY;
-
Sad to say, you didn't care much for Valentines Day. You have been single for a large portion of your life, so you weren't quite used to spending Valentines Day out with a boy, or anything like that. Usually with you, it was spent staying at home and watching movies, listening to music, while eating chocolate, icecream, and so much more. To you, it was more of a, special treat day!
You didn't expect it to be any different than it usually was. You were planning on doing the same thing you do every year on this day. But now, you had a boyfriend. A boyfriend you were honestly deeply inlove with. And he could easily say the same for you.
"(Y/N)!" A loud voice, accompanied by large hands on your shoulder, shook you awake. You groaned, and blinked your eyes to see a happy Riley ontop of you.
"Morning, I guess." You murmured.
"Well, it's eleven o'clock." He told you.
"Eleven! Oh, dear, Riley! Why didn't you wake me up sooner?" Sitting up in your bed as you brushed your hands through your hair, Riley chuckled and rolled off you, laying down very close next to you.
"I didn't wake you up because I know how much you like to sleep in. It's Valentines Day." He leaned forward, poking your nose. "Today is all about my lovely girlfriend."
Really, this surprised you. Never before have you, you know, participated in Valentines Day for real.
"How long have you been up?"
"A few hours." Riley murmured. "I went to the store to get a few things." With a wink, he pecked your cheek, then, very childishly, pulled the sheets away from your body. "Time to get up, beautiful! Go get dressed, or whatever. I have presents for you downstairs."
"Oh-- But Ri, I didn't--"
He shook his head, interrupting you. "My present is you."
You felt your cheeks warm up. And the realization hit you of how lucky you were to have Riley as your boyfriend.
You got up and got ready, giving yourself one last long look in the mirror before heading downstairs to where Riley had said he would be waiting for you. As you reached the last step, you gasped as you felt his large arms sweep you up.
By instinct, you wrapped your arms tightly around his neck. "Riley! Put me down!" You giggled.
"No. You're not supposed to see the surprise, remember? Just close your eyes or something, princess."
The butterflies in your stomach fluttered, and you didn't close your eyes, but stuck your head in the crook of his neck. Slowly, as he carried you to who knows where, you planted light kisses on his neck.
"(Y/N), we're doing that later." He said with a smirk, making you roll your eyes.
"Okay, beautiful." The dark eyed boy murmured, slowly lowering you, and helping you stand helping you stand tall. You turned around to see so much chocolate sitting about your coffee table. Tiny little cut-out hearts were sprinkled all about the room. Large, beautiful flower bouquets were set around the couch.
"Oh my god." You whispered, Riley's arm snaking around your waist. "This is precious."
Riley chuckled, spinning you around. Without warning, his lips attacked your own within seconds. He kissed you slowly, his arms tightening their grip around your waist. His warm, pink lips that fit perfectly onto your own.
