"Hnn...Welcome,"

The moment Elina laid eyes on her dwelling, her gaze fixated on the collection of Sukuna's wooden creations, displayed near the dining table.

"Wow, Sukuna! What is this? It looks like miniatures of tiger vines," she inquired. Sukuna nonchalantly replied, "Oh, those are maneki-neko, lucky cat statues."

Curiosity sparked in Elina as she questioned, "Cat? What kind of animal is that?" Sukuna, now sitting up, couldn't hide his surprise.

"Wait, you don't know what cats are? Are there no fucking cats around here?" he wondered. Elina returned the maneki-neko to its place and admitted,

"Well, they're somewhat similar to tiger vines, but no, we don't have cats here."

"Hmm, that's intriguing," mused Sukuna. Elina then reminded him, "Oh, by the way, Sukuna, I was planning to go straight to Fairy Town. Can you and Bibble take care of the house for me?" Sukuna arched an eyebrow at Elina's question, slightly taken aback.

"Princess, we've only known each other for two days," Sukuna pointed out.

"Why do you want me to look after your house?"

Elina hesitated for a moment as if carefully considering her response. "I have faith in you, Sukuna," she replied, her voice filled with a gentle smile. Sukuna couldn't help but challenge her trust.

"Are you sure you're not being fucking naive? It's only been two consecutive days since we met. Do you trust someone so fucking easily?" he asked, inching closer to her until their faces were almost touching. They locked eyes for a moment, tension filling the air. Finally, Elina broke the silence and answered his probing question.

"I have a talent for judging characters, even in a short time. And in these past two days, I've come to trust you, Sukuna," she said, her smile radiating warmth.

Sukuna's reddish pupils briefly glanced into her eyes, captivated by her sincerity. A soft, rainbow-like light seemed to emanate from Elina's eyes, giving her an ethereal aura. Sukuna was taken truly aback by her words. It was a very rare experience for him to be trusted so easily by someone.

Sukuna furrowed his brow, feeling a surge of perplexing thoughts swirling in his mind. He turned his gaze towards Elina, curiosity etching across his face as he inquired, "What's the rush for heading straight to Fairy Town after work? How much time does it fucking take to get from home to that goddamn Fairy Town anyways?"

"According to Ms. Topaz," Elina explained, "Fairy Town is only a 2-3 hour journey away. So, I'm confident I'll be back home by nightfall." She grabbed a long jacket for extra protection, noting that the cool weather wouldn't bother her during the nighttime journey.

Sukuna, who's first time feeling concerned for someone else, asked, "Are you sure you don't want to grab a goddamn dinner first, Princess? You just finished fucking work." He noticed Elina walking out the door, ready to embark on her adventure.

"I'll be alright," Elina reassured him. "I have some snacks in my bag, and I can always grab food once I reach Fairy Town. Don't worry, I'll be fine. Take care of Bibble and Peony for me." With those words, Elina started making her way towards Fairy Town while Sukuna and her pet, Bibble (who remains asleep), remained at home.

Bibble woke up from his nap and realized it had only been 15 minutes since he closed his eyes. Wondering where Elina had gone, he hurriedly searched every corner of the house.
