"Yes, I know," Tokaku said.

Epel then poured some apple ginger tea right into a cup that he was given from the bag that he carried on his right shoulder, lending it to Tokaku. The girl took and sipped the tea.

"How are you feeling? " Jack asked.

"I sense fine," Tokaku replied.

"How did you faint last night? " Epel asked.

"My head all at once got shocked and dizzy so I passed out, falling and laying on the floor" Tokaku explained.

"Really?  Could it be that you are fatigued? " Jack asked.

"Jade asked the same. But you understand that I failed to get too worn out till suddenly I fainted." Tokaku said.

"Whatever it is, you must get a day off. Let your body rest for a bit so your head can be fine." Epel advised.

Tokaku agreed with him. " I didn't attend class today. Can you tell me what happened when I was unconscious?"

"Well, Trein gave us History homework: We have to exercise the Evolution of Mage Education, pages 250 to 300. Crewel did lend us your Pharmacy notes for the quiz. And we've got a brand new Math professor." Epel informed.

"A new Math professor?  What's his name? " Tokaku asked.

"His name is Kaiba. But he told us to call him Kaiba-sensei." Epel said.

Hearing the name stumped Tokaku. If the name Kaiba is spelled out and he is assigned as a Mathematics professor here at Night Raven College, the problem she had considered suddenly became evident. Moreover, her friends could now be the focus of her mentor.

No matter how shocking the news was, Tokaku remained her composure in front of her buddies. Jack and Epel conversed with their girl as time passed to relieve her loneliness though the girl was used to feeling alone. Even the word alone doesn't affect her at all since all of her family members passed away when she was too young. The three friends stopped their conversation when the clock struck that it was late in the evening. Jack and Epel must return to their dorms before their house wardens punish them, so they excuse themselves to leave. The girl allowed, waving goodbye to her buddies.

When the door creaked and closed, Tokaku's expression changed. She looked bothered on her bed, trying hard to choose whether to believe or disbelieve that the fact her mentor had arrived in Twisted Wonderland and applied as a professor in her classroom. Her mind could only imagine the worst happening to her loved ones here at Night Raven College. As the bothering thoughts kept on burdening her mind, Tokaku decided to relieve them by taking a stroll around the faculty.

Putting on her oversized jacket and her sports boots that were bought by Jade for her sports comfort, she went out of her room, walking down the hallway until she bumped into Azul and Floyd.

"Look who's just waking up, Azul," Floyd said to Azul beside him. "Hi there, Blue Shark. Feeling okay?"

Tokaku nodded.

Meanwhile, Azul sighed in relief. " Thank goodness you're able to wake. Think about your class and the work you have absent."

" Sorry, I didn't know that it would bother you." Tokaku apologized. Then, she realized that Jade wasn't with them which was odd.

" Where's Jade? " She asked.

" He went out to buy stocks for the Mostro Lounge. He just left so you might be able to help him to carry a few stocks." Azul said.

Tokaku nodded in agreement as she comprehended the situation. She politely excused herself from the conversation and headed towards Sam's Mysterious Shop, where Jade needed assistance.

Upon arriving at Sam's Mysterious Shop, Tokaku ran into Jade who had just finished purchasing stocks and was now pushing them in a trolley. In addition, Jade was carrying a grocery bag filled with fresh vegetables, a testament to the wide range of items sold at Sam's Mysterious Shop. Tokaku offered to assist Jade, but he initially refused. However, when Tokaku mentioned that Azul had ordered her to help the vice house warden, Jade reluctantly surrendered and handed over the grocery bag to Tokaku, knowing that he couldn't go against the house warden's command.

Jade and Tokaku strolled down the street, with Jade pushing the trolley. The calm evening was accompanied by the sound of falling leaves, blown by a gentle breeze. The sky was painted with hues of orange, red, and pink, signaling that it was dawn and the night was coming to an end. As Jade gazed up at the sky, he couldn't help but be amazed.

"What a beautiful evening, isn't it, Tokaku?" he asked the girl walking beside him.

She nodded, her voice devoid of any emotion. "Yes, it is lovely," she replied.

For her, the evening was nothing but a reminder of her past. The hues of orange, red, and pink of the sky are some of the images in her memories of when her aunt was still alive. One of the days when she was four and before her aunt was murdered by her cruel grandmother, there was a time she ran to the deep woods, chased by her aunt who effortlessly tried to convince her young and wild self to return home before dark. Or else her grandmother will punish her for running in the dark when it is dangerous for kids like her.

Tokaku loved to run, just like a rabbit in the wild. She would often run as fast as she could. One day, her aunt challenged her to a race. If her aunt could catch her, Tokaku would have to return to her grandmother's house. Her aunt chased after her, trying to grab her many times, but Tokaku was too cunning and she always managed to slip away. Eventually, her aunt caught her by singing her favorite lullaby. Tokaku loved the beautiful song and surrendered to her aunt, giving up her freedom to continue running.

One of her good memories with her beloved aunt still lingers in her mind as she gazes at the dawn sky with her blue eyes. Jade noticed her staring at the sky and called to ask if she was okay.

"I am okay," Tokaku replied, hiding her emotions for her past." The evening is serene."

"Yes, it is." Jade agreed.

Suddenly, as if by fate's gentle hand, a delicate leaf gracefully descended upon the flowing locks of the fair maiden. In that poignant moment, Jade, filled with tender affection, became aware of its presence upon her silken tresses. With a gentle and caring touch, his hand gracefully rose to pluck this delicate gift from her magnificent mane.

Tokaku, startled by the exquisite touch upon her hair, turned swiftly to encounter the gaze of her dear vice house warden. In those electrifying seconds, their eyes met and locked in a mesmerizing exchange. The cerulean depths of her gaze, shimmering with ethereal splendor, bewitched him. Jade, enchanted by her enchanting beauty, found himself breathless and unable to utter even a single word. Time, in all its fleeting nature, seemed to suspend itself as they basked in the profound connection forged between their souls.

However, the moment didn't last long when a voice called Tokaku. The man and the girl stopped gazing at each other, turning to see the person who called Tokaku. To the girl surprise, it was her mentor. The man appeared to be in his thirties, dressed in a white suit, a red undershirt, black sunglasses, and black leather shoes. He is Kaiba-Sensei, undoubtedly Tokaku's former mentor. As
