The next day, Misato woke up and noticed both Auska and Shinji were not home. She put on her uniform and wemt next door to Akanes apartment and knocked on the door.
The door opened and akane wearing a short that was to big for her answered the door.
"Good morning sorry if I'm bothering you but have you seen shinji or auska at all by any chance" Misato asked
Akane blushed and opened the door wider and Misato blushed and smiled seeing shinji put his shirt back on.
"Oh hey misato, im sorry i didnt have a chance to make breakfast" shinji said
Misato giggled.
"Dont worry about it I see you had your hands full last night" Misato said giggling
Shinji blushed and looked away
"Alright have fun you two I'm off to work, im gonna be busy with the test we are running on unit 3" Misato said
She stopped for a moment
"Akane remember, it's not the size if the boat, it's the motion in the ocean" misato said
Akane blushed and looked down, misato finally left.
"Hey let me cook us some breakfast" Shinji said
Meanwhile....
Unit 3 was put in a mountain base, it stood tall it's black and red armor shined in the sun. Nerv engineers were doing a final check on the eva.
Soon Misato and Ritsuko arrived inside the command center of the base.
"Do we have a test pilot yet?" Misato asked
"Auska volunteered, she's still pretty upset we put unit 2 away" Ritsuko replied lighting a cig
"I bet she is, these kids grow so close to there Eva's, like a parent and a child relationship" Misato said
Ritsuko changed the subject
"How soon can we begin testing?" She asked
"Later afternoon, we have to double check everything to prevent another accident" a nerv engineer replied
Auska was in a elevator putting on a brand new plug suit when she called misato, she saw this and stepped out answering the phone.
"Auska what's up?" Misato asked
"Hey I was wondering soemthing, how's shinji I didn't see him this morning" Auska asked
Misato smiled
"Lets just say he's in good hands" Misato replied
"Good hands? Whatever not like I care, anyways who's the pervert that designed this plug suit, it's a little revealing" Auska said
"Not sure I'll be sure to ask once where done, in the meantime set yourself up in the entry plug we will start shortly" Misato said.
"Got it see you later" Auska said before hanging up.
She stepped into the entry plug and sat in typing stuff down. But she noticed the lcl smelled wrong, had a metallic smell to it almost like blood.
"Command this auska, I think the LCL is bad requesting to change it" auska said but got no response
The entry plug suddenly sealed snd was forcably inserted into the eva.
"Whats going on?" Auska asked
In the command center red alarms turned on.
"Whats happening?" Misato asked
"Entry plug has been activated, plug depth is passing 180"
"Stop it, if she goes any deeper she will no long be human" Ritsuko said panicking
"The eva is rejecting all commands"
The eva began to move and shake.
"Is that...?" Ritsuko asked
"Its an angel" misato said
Eva roared before a massive explosion rocked the entire mountain side.
Shinji and Akane got the same phone call and froze hearing the news.
At Nerv HQ alarms turned on.
"Damage unknown, but were detecting something crawling out the crator, we cant determine whether it's an angel or not" Makoto said
"We will not take chances, deploy unit 1 and Kiryu, battlestation condtion 1" Commander Ikari said
Hours later Kiryu and unit 1 stood side by side to the area, tanks rolled past them formed a lined infront of them.
"Is misato and Auska okay?" Shinji asked
"Unknown, we are still finding survivors so don't worry im sure we'll find them too" Makoto replied
A alarm went off inside unit 1.
"Target approaching"
Shunji saw infront of the setting sun was a eva walking slowly.
"Blood test complete....it's blue" Makoto said
"We are officially discarding unit 3, it will now classified as a angel, commence operation" Commander ikari said
The tanks began to fire, the round exploded or bounced harmlessly off the slow walking eva.
"Here we go" akane said aiming the missiles and hand laser canons at the eva.
"Wait Auska was suppose to pilot it" shinji said
He did a quick scan.
"She's still in there, don't shoot" Shinji said
Akane had her fingers on the trigger but she lowered them.
"I ordered you to open fire, it's an angel that's all that matters" Commander ikari said
"Tank platoon pulling back"
Now unit 1 and kiryu were facing down unit 3 its growled and so did kiryu.
