16. makes sense

hello and welcome back to another episode of my opinions
today's topic: things i do that i think just make sense and my unpopular opinions

1) i wear my shorts (spandex) under almost everything because a) coverage b) more comfortable c) when i'm sleeping and get warm, i can just take off my pants and sleep in my shorts without having to change

2) i don't properly make my bed because a) i'm lazy and unmotivated b) i'm going to climb in it in less than 24 hours anyways so why bother making it look perfect, especially when no one is going to look and criticise it.

3) stare at my books/bookshelf because a) it gives me comfort b) i love seeing which books i have, which i have read, and which i have not c) it's pretty d) i try to think of ideas on how to organise all my books

4) listen to music almost 24/7 because a) it calms my nerves b) the songs are good c) i have headphones so i can just move one off my ear if smo is talking to me d) it distracts me from the world e) helps me focus f) lets me feel emotions i'm too scared to express

5) always wear shirts under sweaters/hoodies when outside my house because if i get hot, i can take it off and still wear smth

6) keep my door and closet closed when sleeping because a) i hate seeing a hallway that's dark (no i'm not afraid of the dark, i just hate that idk if that pile of laundry is clothes or a demon coming to murder me) b) if it's morning there's only so much sunlight that can flood into my room

7) open my curtains and blinds because a) it's too stuffy if i don't b) i have to use my electricity/lights if i don't open them c) i like seeing outside ESPECIALLY if it's raining <3

8) chew gum because a) it helps with my anxiety (prevents me from biting my nails) b) it prevents me from eating food (it sounds worse than it is)

9) have my headphones around my neck because a) i listen to music for 99% of my day b) it's part of my personality c) i can hide away from the world whenever i want/i can block out annoying people

10) i wear socks to bed. before you say anything there is only one reason other than that i don't like feet. when i wear socks there's nothing loose that is touching my feet, when i'm wearing socks it's kind of like compression? if i don't wear socks i get sweaty (it doesn't make sense ik but otherwise i can't sleep)

1) crocs are not stylish in any way

2) pjs should only be worn inside the house

3) i. love. wandavision.

4) timothee chalamet is not attractive (granted i love his hair and he's sweet and acting skills are great)

5) books with pure smut and no plot suck ass (sorry not sorry)

6) dobby was annoying as fuck and i wasn't effected by his death ("dobby is happy to help mr. harry potter and his friends" shut up. tho i do love the line of "dobby didn't mean to kill. only maim or seriously injure.")

7) stephen sanchez sounds like ed sheeran

8) arranged marriages in books is SO much better than friends to lovers

9) people who eat grilled cheese without ketchup are walking red flags

10) drake is overrated

mediocre opinions:

1) teslas suck ass.

2) onlyfans and omegle shouldn't be a thing

3) mashed potatoes are gross

4) eating sausages for breakfast is low key weird (but who am i to judge, i don't eat breakfast)

5) asmr SUCKS

6) disney needs to stop trying so hard with its new movies (ex. snow white: no prince? a supposed completely white girl latina? {ngl tho i love rachel zegler})

7) little caesars tastes like fucking cardboard.

8) gray's anatomy has way too many fucking seasons

9) anything with fizz is disgusting

10) halloween and valentines day are the worst holidays (i only like dressing up cuz i can pretend i'm smo i'm not :D)

popular opinions:

1) people in school are under WAY too much pressure

2) healthcare should ALWAYS be covered by insurance EVERYWHERE

3) teenage boys who drench themselves in axe body spray need to learn that it stinks and need to learn how to shower using a shower

4) pineapple really doesn't belong on pizza. the italians are furious 😭

5) (american) football is a stupid name for the sport

6) stargazing is AMAZING... until smo starts rambling about the fucking constilations

7) we should earn living wage, not minimum wage

8) the wii is superior. (if you don't know what that is i will come and find you.)

9) umbitch sucks ass (but the actress is a slay)

10) for my theatre kids out there: goodreads? no. goodmusicals. there should be a streaming site (smth like netlfix) that is just for musicals, both stage plays and movies
