"You can, uh, call the police from my office," Mr. Hackett offered.

"Thank you," Melissa nodded as she started off.

He looked at them one last time before turning around. "Let me know if you hear from Spencer."

"Yes, sir," Aria agreed.

But Isabel knew where Spencer was. Where would she go if Toby had truly broken her, as Jason did to Isabel?

Radley.

Isabel, Aria, and Hanna were at the Brew when Emily ran up to them.

"Melissa wanted me to know that Spencer was in Radley, so she came in on her way out there," Emily explained, eyes wide. Just as Isabel thought. "Dr. Sullivan called her."

"What's Sullivan have to do with this?" Aria frowned.

"Sullivan found Spencer at Radley," Emily replied. "That's where the rangers sent her."

"Where was she?" Isabel asked, crossing her arms.

"Melissa said that Spencer was in the woods all night," Emily shrugged.

"Wait, she was just wandering around in the woods? Why?" Hanna asked incredulously.

"Was she looking for Toby?" Aria added.

"I don't know," Emily sighed, looking around to see if anyone was eavesdropping.

Hanna looked at them urgently. "You guys, we have to go there. We have to talk to her."

"Family visits only," Emily replied bitterly. "It's some kind of mandatory evaluation."

Hanna's phone beeped, yet Aria went on. "I don't like the idea of Melissa being the only one that's able to get in there."

"I know. That's why I left Dr. Sullivan a message," Emily nodded.

"Guys..." Hanna gulped, showing them a picture of Ms. Marin and Wilden near the scene of the accident, signed by 'A'.

Later, in the bathroom, the four girls devised a plan to visit Spencer in Radley.

"We could just say that we're Spencer's cousins," Hanna suggested, and they gave her a skeptical look.

"Hanna, nobody's ever gonna believe that," Aria scoffed.

"I could just pretend to go crazy," Isabel shrugged. They stared at her, and she laughed bitterly. "It wouldn't be hard."

"Isabel, that's a bit extreme-" Aria began.

"Or I could just actually go crazy," Isabel snapped, but she knew she already was. "I mean, I'm this close to spiraling. Maybe if I got a little alcohol in my-"

"Isabel, please don't talk like that," Emily muttered, and Isabel stopped talking. "Well, um... we have to find out why she's so sure Toby's dead."

"Well, they have to let her out after 72 hours," Hanna replied.

"No, they don't have to let her go at all if she's really gone crazy," Isabel said, and they stared ta her.

"What are you saying?" Emily scoffed.

"I'm saying, 'A's been turning the screws so long, one of us was bound to snap a string," Isabel shrugged. "I thought it was gonna be me, but..."

"I just never thought that it would be Spencer," Aria agreed.

"I did," Hanna sighed, making them all stare at her.

"Why?" Isabel asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Because there's a downside to being too smart," Hanna replied, and they were silent, because she was right.

"You were never the weak link, Emily," Aria said. "Spencer was."

Suddenly, Mona walked in, and they awkwardly stared at each other. Just as they were about to go, Mona spoke up.

"So, where's the fifth musketeer?" she asked, looking at herself in the mirror. "Haven't seen her today."

"If you mean Spencer, I think you know exactly where she is, she's in Radley, and you're the reason why," Isabel snapped, storming up to her. Mona stopped applying lipstick to stare at her in fake-surprise.

"Radley?" she blinked.

"Don't play dumb, Mona," Hanna huffed as the others also walked up to Mona.

"Could've gotten through senior year and been finished, but you wouldn't leave it alone," Emily agreed.

"Listen to me-" Mona sighed.

"No, you listen," Aria snapped, getting into her face. "If Spencer doesn't get better, and she doesn't get out of Radley, you're gonna wish you broke your neck when you fell off that cliff."

Suddenly, the PA system crackled to life, and the girls looked up.

'Attention... Aria Montgomery, report to the principal's office. Aria Montgomery, to the office.'

Mona just looked back at herself in the mirror, almost satisfied, fixing her hair.
