Ovalsan's log: Going through the archive to do some episode picks on Netflix's Hilda with the final season coming in December so here are some personal picks with those that could hit on what could happen in the final season.
Season one picks
Eps 101: the Hidden people.
The first episode a adaptation of the first Hilda book at the beginning and 1/2 of the other, the episode mostly have Hill they're trying to make peace with the elves to their house being in a mostly populated elf County.
Eps 102: the midnight Giant
This one here is on the other half the second Hilda book all she's visiting Trollberg with her mom but she was not thrilled with her trying to make peace with the elf king even when she did succeed her house was accidentally crushed by the Giants Hilda helped but moved to trollburg in the end.
Eps 103: the bird parade
Now this one is a full adaptation of a third Hilda book with some details on Hilda's mom Joanna she was a spare Scout before she left trollburg the question is at the time apart from inherited reasons in the first place?
As for the rest that leads up to and overarching take on the fourth book it's very enjoying with the troll Rock being a personal favorite.
2nd season picks
Now the following is on theory that went thought most folks heads.
Eps 201: the troll circle
The second season with Hilda winning an essay contest to go on a day with the head safety patrol Eric Albert who's a real win bag the whole thing started on the original with them seen some small things here and there with the Bells with the Bell keeper who coincidentally have the same food interest as Hilda but that's for the next one, the whole thing ended on more trolls sightings and Hilda finds Eric as a fool than a hero and more of a danger to trollbergs than the trolls.
Eps 206: the old bells of trollburg
The second season is where Hilda and her friends must shut down the mechanical Bell systems due to them causing nothing but chaos with the Bell keeper, now at the time people once thought the belt keeper was Hilda's dad but even I know he's a red herring and the only way to resolve it to me is if in the Netflix movie Hilda in the Mountain King is where when Hilda tries to get into Trollburg when she a troll and when the bell keeper recognize her after using them so she won't get caught by a safe Patrol he goes to Joanna to inform her and just see what happens next.
Eps 209: The Deer fox
This one tells the story on how Hill that meets Tigs well she and her mom is currently looking for him but it also explains why they live in the wilderness to Joanna need a place to work on her heart now when is yet to be known other than the fact of it being simply a year or two after Hilda was born but that's only General speculation for now what season 3 we'll have may not have the answers we wanted so those like me will have to wait till December for now.
The movie: Hilda and the mountain king.
The movie was a great continuing picking up from where the season 2 finale left off and it really made Eric see the error of his way to prevent a war he almost caused even if it is the last book of a series won't mind the novels that are based on certain episodes of the Netflix series but honestly I'm not into them.
What season 3 will have is still anyone's gifts for now with from what I've heard is that they'll only be seven episodes and special and that'd be it for the series.
This chapter posting is my personal part for the anniversary of Hilda releasing on Netflix before going to a week-long break just work on some other projects for next year.
