What the different and what if?: Ready Player one

Ready Player one is a Syfy story about Wade Watts Quest to find Halliday's digital Easter egg in the Oasis in the virtual world I mostly know about replay level one from it's movie adaptation with the Steven Spielberg Nostalgia as for the book well the three keys had a gate to go with each of them and that's far as I read it on a book on CD at least.

The head of ioi had been sending his Sixers into challenges like The Shining like it's a suicide mission did his own lack of knowing or caring sometimes I wonder if those no brain no pain kind of villains would truly feel pain if they are shot in the arm or any other body parts to see if they are human a punch or a well placed insult with only be a blow to their ego.

Now what if just for a personal story that is would it be more of a road story you may say since the movie is kind of stationery in Columbus Ohio and being all over the Oasis so what if each state has their own Oasis server with their own themes for instance Michigan would be a motor speedway Florida a gnarly Beach Los Angeles the Golden Age of Hollywood and so on.

Why would one go out of Ohio you may ask, well if the Oasis was really the size of state of Ohio then it would only be in Ohio server and if anyone wants to go to another server the means of travel would take a long time unless it's through warp connections that is and they would be pretty expensive.

The additional villains I have in mind be more smarter than those of ioi but what if those of the governments are looking for Halladays egg with the use of the smaller fish to catch a bigger fish tactic giving a funds to who also have good intentions for the eggs without giving off unwanted suspicion to whoever they give it to and keep tabs on them so they would know when to Aid or if they don't like what they are seen Ambush them.
