She may be an innocent naive person with a kind heart, but I was a stupid, an ungrateful person for not realizing the things I've done to this person who didn't want to give up... until now...

I had finally arrived at her penthouse to stop her from signing the divorce papers, but something was off... Her door was already slightly opened and there was a strange scented smell coming from inside her penthouse. I opened the door seeing that all the lights were off.

"Lisa?" I called out nervously, but no response.
I was confused on why she didn't answer back and pinched my nose from the strange smell.
I turned on the lights seeing a bloody trail on the floor. I gasped, terrified of the bloody sight.

I grabbed my phone calling for help, and slowly following the bloody trail, worriedly, and terrified. They asked me what the emergency was. That's when... I saw her, the woman who loved me, agreeing to sign our divorce papers on the floor with blood all over her body.

"M-my husband! S-she's covered in blood, please come quick!" I hurriedly ran to her holding her, putting pressure on the bloody wounds she had in her stomach. Her blood stained my hands and clothes, but I didn't care. My heart was rapidly pounding, aching from seeing her in this state.
Just who did this to her!?

"L-Lisa!?" I gently shook her to wake up.
She was barely breathing, grunting with pain. Lisa opens her eyes that didn't shine like always, but appeared dull and her body felt cold...

"J-Jennie... r-run" She looks at me with tears.
I was confused on why she wanted me to run when she should be getting help! That's when I felt chills run down my spine seeing a shadow figure in the corner of my eye and the lights turned off. I quickly turned around seeing a knife swing at me, but I was lucky enough to dodge it with quick reflexes.

My phone dropped somewhere underneath the couch, hoping that the police and ambulance would get here on time. A tall hooded person whose face wasn't visible tries to attack me holding two knifes. I grabbed whatever was near to use as a weapon which was a fucking lamp!

"Who are you and why are you doing this!?"
I shouted angrily questioning them, but they kept silent swinging their knifes at me, aiming to stab me on the chest. I fought back hitting them with the body part of the lamp, but they also had quick reflexes, dodging my attacks. I hit one of their hands that made them drop one knife, but of course that wasn't enough since they still had another knife. The hooded person aims the sharp blade at me, but blocked it from plunging on my chest with the lamp.

We fought bumping into things that fell crashing to the ground. The lamp eventually broke from the hard impacts I gave to fight back and from the hits it took from the hooded person. I could hear them snickering, mocking me as I walked back, bumping into the wall behind me...
Fuck... is this how I'm going to die?

Will the ambulance make it to save... Lisa and I?
They ran fast towards me with the sharp knife in their hands. I try to hold them off with the bit of strength I had, preventing the knife to stab me.

However, they were stronger than me... my strength started to weaken slowly seeing the sharp blade painfully stab my chest.
"Aughh!" I grunted, clenching my teeth from the painful blade that spears through my skin.
They pulled the knife out and stabbed me again, this time on the stomach. My mouth agapes hearing them giggle as they stabbed me repeatedly until they heard sirens.
