Aria had responded to all the birthday messages the guys sent her, finally being able to hangout with Luca, which is all she wanted to do on her birthday. The boy insisted on taking her for lunch, after she opened the gift he got her.
" You literally just got me stuff for Christmas, this is ridiculous",
Luca looked at the girl, " Who denies gifts, and since when do you deny gifts? Are you sick?"
She smiled as they walked into one of their favourite restaurants where they lived. Even though tomorrow was Luca's birthday, the two families always celebrate them together, on one of their birthdays. Aria told him he wasn't getting his gifts until tomorrow, not wanting to ruin his actual birthday.
The two ordered their food, talking about school, or whatever one of them brought up. Aria always found it easy to talk to Luca, maybe since they had known each other for so long. But it was never awkward, even if it was silent.
" I'm so excited for the cakes tonight, I saw them this morning. They looked so good", Aria said happily, Luca laughing at her.

Luca and Aria arrived back at her house, where the birthday event was. Adam was watching tv in the living room, the two sitting with him.
" That's like, the 3rd date since we've been home", he said, looking between them both.
" we went for lunch, for my birthday", Aria scoffed, " it wasn't a date".
Adam nodded, " where was my invite then?", Luca and Aria not responding, " Yeah exactly".
Luca wanted to consider it a date, but that means almost everytime they went out, it was a date. Aria also wanted to consider it, but neither of them wanted to say anything. They both hoped one of them would eventually confess their feelings, both of them to nervous to do it.
