Lo'ak grabbed Tuk's hand and together the two of them leaped into the water, quickly breaking the surface and paddling towards the group. Tsireya met Lo'ak with an endearing splash on the cheek, while he just received it and smirked at her.

"Do you want to get in?" Feya asked, stepping closer to the edge of the platform. There were small pearls dangling off the netting of her top that glittered in the sunlight, and her wavy hair was adorned in brightly colored strips of fabric. Her big doe eyes, blinking up at him, but he had to shake his head because he knew he wouldn't be able to swim yet. "No, not now. But I'll sit here and watch you guys."

She sighed at him. "But that'll be kinda boring for you, won't it?"

"No. I have stuff to do. Besides, you'll give me a good view from here."

Feya's ears rotated backwards as she clicked her tongue and helped him sit down, his legs hanging off the platform to where his feet dipped into the water. He was slightly embarrassed that he'd been assisted in sitting down, but he knew he needed the help. Sitting down even with Feya holding onto him hurt bad enough.

"Thank you," he muttered, trying not to grimace.

Fey'atsi flashed him a soft smile and stood back up to her full height, "Maybe I should sit with you."

Neteyam's heart warmed at her words, but he knew she was only saying that because she didn't want him to look lonely up here. She did genuinely want to sit with him, although Neteyam wasn't going to allow her to miss out on all the fun in order to just sit on her butt with him all day. "No way." He took his leg and gently shoved her off the platform.

Followed by a shriek, there was a big splash that erupted all around them. The group of teenagers laughed and pointed, before Feya's head broke the surface and she gasped. "Neteyam!"

"Oh, I got you!" Neteyam laughed and held his stomach tenderly. As she was regaining her composure in the waves, he reached into the belt of his loincloth and brought out a wad of string along with a little pouch of stones and beads.

He'd been collecting the pretty items he saw along the beach and he'd even collected a few things from his recovery in the forest. He'd found the pouch of his belongings on the floor in the marui yesterday where his father had kindly set them aside, until Neteyam was ready to use them again. Thankfully, Jake never asked him what they were for and minded his business. Neteyam had actually decided a while ago to make Fey'atsi a necklace, but was put on hold because of everything that happened.

Today, Neteyam was hoping to finish it. There was a big smooth river stone that was a glittery pink color, which he put in the middle of the necklace, before he surrounded the stone with an assortment of blue and white pebbles. As he was concentrating, the sun warmed the skin across his back and filled him with a pleasant feeling.

"Neteyam, who did your hair like that?" Tsireya was floating nearby, keeping her arm close to Tuk in order to keep her from sinking. "It looks quite handsome."

"Fey'atsi did," Neteyam answered, casting a glance in the direction of the girl. "She did a good job, too. My braids don't fall into my face now."

There was a giddy atmosphere that appeared in the air around the group of friends. Maybe not giddy, but an enthusiastic feeling enveloped the crowd. Tsireya laughed and moved next to Feya, who was revealing her sharp canine teeth with a wide smile. The reef girl playfully swatted at the forest girl and they both whispered to each other, before Feya spoke. "You have great hair, actually. You were the perfect model."

A round of snickers erupted from the group. "No wonder you two are somewhat matching." Tsireya grinned, "Lo'ak will not let me do his hair. He says I'll do something girlish."
