It was a sunny afternoon in the Hidden Leaf Village. The streets were bustling with villagers going about their daily routines, but for Naruto Uzumaki, it was just another day filled with unfulfilled dreams and ambitions. He had recently become a genin after completing the mission to protect Tazuna, the bridge builder. However, Naruto couldn't shake the feeling that he had a long way to go to become the Hokage, the dream he had cherished for so long.

Naruto sat on a swing in the academy's courtyard, his mind filled with thoughts of his future. He watched his classmates, Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha, as they trained diligently. Sasuke's exceptional skills had always left Naruto in awe, and he couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy at the thought of how much further ahead Sasuke was compared to him.

With determination burning in his eyes, Naruto decided he needed to catch up and fast. He knew he couldn't do it alone. As he watched Sasuke practicing his shurikenjutsu, an idea struck him like a bolt of lightning.

Pushing himself off the swing, Naruto approached Sasuke as he retrieved his shuriken from the target.

"Hey, Sasuke!" Naruto called out, his voice brimming with newfound determination.

Sasuke turned to look at him, raising an eyebrow. "What is it, Naruto?"

Naruto took a deep breath, trying to sound as serious as possible. "I need your help."

Sasuke's expression didn't change much, but there was a hint of curiosity in his eyes. "Help with what?"

"I want you to train me," Naruto declared boldly.

Sakura, who had been observing from a distance, couldn't help but overhear. She too was curious about Naruto's sudden request.

Sasuke's lips curved into a small smirk. "Train you? You?"

Naruto wasn't deterred by Sasuke's skepticism. "Yeah! Look, Sasuke, I know you're way ahead of me in skills, but I want to get better. I want to catch up to you and prove that I'm not just some dead-last genin. I want to become Hokage one day, and I can't do that without improving."

Sasuke studied Naruto for a moment, his dark eyes locked onto Naruto's determined blue ones. "Why should I help you?"

Naruto didn't hesitate. "Because we're a team, Sasuke. Team 7! We went through the Tazuna mission together, and we need to support each other to become stronger. If you help me get better, I promise I'll help you too."

Sasuke's smirk faded, replaced by a thoughtful expression. He glanced at Sakura, who had approached them by now, and nodded. "Fine, Naruto. I'll help you train, but I won't go easy on you. Training with me will be tough, and you better be prepared for it."

Naruto beamed with excitement. "I'm ready, Sasuke! I'll give it my all!"

Sakura thinking this would be a great time to be alone with Sasuke chimed in with a smile, "I'll help too, Naruto! We'll all become stronger together."

And so, with a promise made on that sunny afternoon, Naruto's journey to catch up to his teammates began. Little did they know that this decision would shape their destinies and lay the foundation for the adventures, friendships, and challenges that awaited them on the path to becoming legendary ninja in the Hidden Leaf Village.

Tomorrow morning team 7 decided to start there training oblivious at the watchful eye of their mentor, Kakashi Hatake, was in full swing.

Naruto, ever determined to win Sakura's heart, was determined to impress her with his ninja skills. Unfortunately, his attempts at mastering jutsu remained clumsy and uncoordinated. He could barely control his chakra, often leading to comical mishaps during training sessions.

One sunny afternoon, Naruto found himself sprawled in the dirt for what felt like the hundredth time, mud clinging to his clothes and hair. Sakura watched from the sidelines, her arms crossed and a skeptical expression on her face.

"Naruto, you're hopeless," Sakura remarked, unable to hide her frustration.

Naruto scrambled to his feet, his face flushed with embarrassment. "I'll get it next time, Sakura! Just watch!"

Meanwhile, Sakura herself faced challenges. Her combat skills were lacking compared to her teammates, and she struggled to keep up with Naruto and Sasuke's progress. Her frustration was exacerbated by Naruto's relentless attempts to win her over, which only served to irritate her more.

Sasuke, ever the aloof and arrogant member of the team, watched the interactions between Naruto and Sakura with mild amusement. He knew that their bickering and rivalry could be a distraction, but he was starting to get a little annoy because he hope that helping his teammates will help him get stronger so that he can kill Itachi.

One evening, after another tiring training session, Naruto approached Sasuke with a determined glint in his eye. "Sasuke, I need your help. I want to become stronger and impress Sakura. Can you teach me some of your techniques?"

Sasuke raised an eyebrow, a faint smirk playing on his lips. "Why would I help you, Naruto? And impressing Sakura? That's your problem, not mine."

Naruto's enthusiasm remained undeterred. "Come on, Sasuke, we're teammates! We should help each other out!"

Sasuke's smirk widened slightly. "Fine, if you can keep up with my training, maybe you'll have a chance. But don't expect any hand-holding. You have to prove your worth."
