|29| Unanticipated Mornings

Start from the beginning

No. No.

The fueling morning testosterone levels did nothing the ease the dilemma my body was in.

Her face was void of her black glasses, making her look like a whole different person. More carefree, less stressed.

Her damp hair clung to her skin, and droplets of water traced delicate pathways down the crest of her backbone, disappearing right into the place that was delicately covered by the white fluff of the towel.

All my senses were thoroughly awake now. Including the evidence of my arousal that became painfully hard to control.

My mind was on overdrive, realizing that she was possibly naked under that towel.

Very very naked.

Don't think about it.

The front decor of Ria's closet was formed of large mirrors and when her gaze met mine through one of the mirrors, red crimson darkened her cheeks, spreading right from her ears to the curve of her neck. Her hand that clasped onto the tie of the towel tightened.

I immediately put my palms on my eyes, calling out, "I swear to God, I didn't see anything!"

"Liar. You don't even believe in god. Don't take his name in vain," Came her reply.

A sheepish smile tugged on my lips as I asked, "Is that the permission to look?"

"Shut up. I thought you were still asleep. I even asked but you didn't reply."

"I wasn't awake before you came in. But now, I am fully awake. Now, can I look? Just a small little peek." My voice came out to be whiny yet playful. "I will even say please if you want."

I pulled the comforter up to my stomach, to cover the morning wood, not wanting to make her feel more uncomfortable than I possibly already had with my watch earlier.

"Okay. Say please. I will let you have a peek after that."

"Please, Ria. Let me have a good look at you in that microscopic towel so that I can die a happy man."

For a moment I thought she was serious but then she snorted. "Nah, that's not good enough. You will have to work harder than that."

"How about a reward for saving a damsel in distress from terrifying dreams last night?" I negotiated.

"Nope. Not happening."

I asked, jesting, "What would it take for you to roam around the house in that towel all day? I am ready to sacrifice my life for it."

"Transfer half of your wealth to me. I will think about your proposition then," She said.

The fact that she was still entertaining this conversation gave me a fair idea about her good mood this morning.

"I have married a gold digger, have I not?" I couldn't help but grin.

"That you have."

A small giggle of hers shot straight to my core, as I groaned, altering to lay on my stomach, hiding my face into the pillow with my eyes still snugly closed.

Hearing the sound of her steps disappear into the bathroom, I woke up, desperately in need of a shower. And a lot of time to cool myself down. With emphasis on a lot. I felt like a rabid animal in heat.

Not the kind of morning I had anticipated.

Aryan: Be ready by eight tonight. Wear something fancy.

I texted Ria, reminding her about the Charity Ball.

Ria: When will you be home?

Aryan: Why? Are you missing me, my dearest wife?
