Andrija's Perspective.

I paced around the campsite, hands nestled in my slacks' pockets. The recent argument lingered in my mind, I can't even believe that Kosta hadn't reached out to me after all these years, and now he just appeared out of nowhere taking the spotlight away from me effortlessly.

I found a seat next to the students grilling their pork, I relaxed my mind trying to entertain myself by watching them.

"Hey, André!" Jovan’s fist interrupted my thoughts, causing me to snap back to reality.

"Why do you look so upset?" He playfully teased. "Ah, is it because of that?" Jovan pointed towards Kosta and Blaire, who's grilling a pork. They be enjoying themselves there, while I suffer here.

I mentally scoffed at them, feeling my own misery. I swatted Jovan's hand off my shoulder, snapping, "Shut up!"

"Calm down, you know... You can always win her over." Jovan's voice lowered, offering reassurance,

"What are you talking about?" I blurted out.

"Oh, André, my friend, I know you like Blaire." Jovan said, his tone turned teasing.

I watched Jovan's mischievous grin and let out a sigh. "It's not that simple," I mumbled, my gaze shifting to where Blaire and Kosta were still engrossed in their conversation.

Jovan gave me a knowing look and patted my back. "Look, André, sometimes you just need to show her who you are. Impress her. You've got qualities Kosta can't match."

I raised an eyebrow, skeptical. "And what qualities might those be?" Jovan chuckled.

"Well, for one, you're the one who's been here for her all these years. That's got to count for something." I considered his words, feeling a glimmer of hope. Maybe it wasn't too late to make my move and finally reveal my feelings to Blaire.

“Should we take her away from him?” Jovan mumbled, I looked at him raising an eyebrow.

“Why don't you just help Sam there, grilling a pork?” I retorted.

“She keeps pushing me away tho” He said, earning a chuckle from me. “I feel like Sam is into you” he continued.

I nodge his shoulder causing him to whimper, “Ain't no way, we're friends” I said.

“That hurts man!” He blurted out, rubbing his shoulder “Then I hope you'll stay friends forever....I'll go now”

I chukled, watching Jovan walk away my gaze shifted to Blaire and Kosta, clenching my fist.

I won't give up not until I get what's meant to be mine.

Author's POV:

The sun hung low in the sky, casting a warm golden glow across the campsite as the students bustled about. Among them, Sam couldn't help but notice André, his tall figure moving gracefully through the crowd. Her heart skipped a beat, and she found herself walking toward him, her steps matching his.

"Hey, André," she called out, her voice carrying on the gentle breeze. He turned to her, their eyes locking in a moment that seemed to stretch for eternity. "Got a minute?"
