André's Pov

I paces back and forth outside Blaire's house eagerly waiting for her to return home. She had gone with Kosta to his home to work on their PowerPoint presentation and I couldn't help but feel jealous, worry gnawing at me.

“I can't believe she's been at Kosta's for so long. What are they even doing there? It's just a presentation.” I thought to myself as I ruffled my hair.

My phone buzzes. He took it out of my pocket, hoping it's a message from Blaire, but it's just a notification from a group chat.

“Ugh, why is time moving so slowly? I wish she'd just come back already. Fuck it” I cursed under my breath.

A car's engine hummed to a halt outside, and my attention snapped to it, assuming it was Blaire. I quickly stepped outside the gate, my eyes fixed on the car, eager to catch a glimpse of her.

The car doors swung open, and there she was – Blaire, accompanied by Kosta. My steps quickened as I approached her, my emotions a mix of relief and frustration.

"What took you so long to come home?" I blurted out, unable to hide the slight edge of upset in my voice as I looked at Blaire. My eyes flickered to Kosta, who stood beside her, and I couldn't help but feel a surge of irritation that he was with her.

Before Blaire could respond, Kosta interjected, his words dripping with sarcasm. "Oh, you know, just making sure Blaire here had the full Kosta experience. It takes time, you know," he said with a sly grin, his tone taunting.

I clenched my fists, my jaw tightening as I struggled to keep my emotions in check. This wasn't how I had envisioned Blaire's return, and Kosta's presence only intensified my inner turmoil.

“No one's talking to you” I replied to Kosta, I can see the surprise on Blaire's expression.

“Oh my” Auntie suddenly emerged from the house and rushed over to Blaire.

“Oh dear, you're home,” Auntie exclaimed.

“Just got home, mom,” Blaire replied, a hint of exhaustion in her voice.

Auntie's gaze shifted to Kosta, who stood nearby. Their eyes met, and a silent understanding seemed to pass between them as he gave her a nod of acknowledgment.

“Are you my daughter's friend?” Auntie inquired, her tone curious yet welcoming. Kosta responded with another nod, a friendly smile playing on his lips.

“Thanks for bringing her home. Why don't you stay here for dinner?” Auntie extended a warm invitation, catching me off guard. I furrowed my eyebrows in surprise, my thoughts racing. Kosta, however, readily agreed with a grateful smile that matched his earlier nod.

Blaire and Auntie began to make their way inside, engaging in conversation as they walked away. Meanwhile, I found myself locking eyes with Kosta, a mixture of emotions swirling within me. Resisting the urge to confront him, I chose instead to follow Blaire and Auntie indoors.

As I stepped into the house, a sense of tension lingered between Kosta and me, a silent rivalry that hung in the air. He remained outside, With one last glare in his direction, I joined Blaire and Auntie, leaving Kosta behind.
