Blaire

As I entered the classroom my eyes caught the figure of Kosta who's seated in his desk engrossed to something in his phone. The scene of Kosta and I suddenly flashes to my mind and I can feel my heart skips a beat when he turns his attention to me. I stood there frozen as his eye are locked onto mine that I didn't even realize Sam as calling me.

"Hey, are you okay?" Sam's voice breaks through my daze, and I snap out of it, feeling a flush creep up my cheeks.

"Oh, uh, yeah," I stammer, glancing back at Kosta who's now smirking slightly. "I'm fine."

Sam chuckles, nudging me playfully. "Caught you daydreaming, huh? Anyway, we were discussing the group project. You in?"

I tear my gaze away from Kosta, trying to focus on Sam. "Yeah, of course, I'm in."

As Sam explains the project details, I can't help but feel Kosta's eyes on me intermittently. My heart races, and I struggle to concentrate on the conversation. After a few minutes, the bell rings, signaling the end of the class. I gather my belongings, exchanging a quick smile with Sam before making my way out of the classroom.

I feel a tap on my shoulder, and I turn to find Kosta standing there. "Hey," he says, his voice surprisingly gentle.

"Hi," I reply, my heart doing flips in my chest.

"Are you alright?," he starts, I slightly nodded and he lets out a sigh

“Where's André? I didn't see him around” asks.

“He couldn't make it today, he was sick” I replied.

“Oh, really? Get well soon then” Kosta, his voice sounded insincere.

" Anyway, I was wondering if you'd like to grab a coffee with me sometime?"

My jaw drops slightly, stunned by the unexpected invitation. "Me? Coffee? With you?"

He chuckles, a warm sound. "Yeah, you. Unless you've got some doppelgänger I'm not aware of."

I can't help but smile at his playful tone. "Coffee sounds nice."

"Great," he says, "I'll text you the location tomorrow, gotta go." He bid goodbye.

As he walks away, I'm left standing there, heart still racing. I can hardly believe what just happened. Sam catches up to me, a knowing grin on his face.

"What was that? Any progress," she teases.

I playfully nudge her. "You're one to talk, Mrs. Nudging-into-Lamp-Posts."

We both laugh, heading down the hallway together. My mind is a whirlwind of thoughts and excitement, and I can't wait to see where this coffee date will lead.

...

Sam and I strolled leisurely in the park. As we walked, I noticed a plastic bag in her hands. Curiosity piqued, I asked what it was. She smiled shyly, stopped in her tracks, and so did I.

"Uhmm..." She paused, a slight smile on her face, and continued, "I would like to give this to... André."

"How come he has a present?" I asked, slightly laughing. Sam pouted.

"Actually, I... I like André," she said, stumbling upon her confession, and I was surprised by it.

“So this explains why you're always with him” I said laughing, Sam caught a bit off guard, her face turning red.

"Could you help me with him, please?" she pleaded while pouting.

"Of course, Sam," I replied with a grin, noticing her nervousness. "I'd be more than happy to help you. ”

“I didn't know what to get him, so I just bought chocolates for him.” Sam, as she handed me the plastic bag with loads of sweets in it.

“Can you give this to him?” Sam, pouted with her puppy eyes.

I smiled at her and took the plastic bag.

“So Blaire, tell what does André like”

“André likes spicy and salty foods. He's a good pianist, tennis and basketball player" I said as we continued to stroll.

"Sounds like a multi-talented guy with diverse interests," Sam

I chuckled. "I think he'll appreciate these chocolates, especially since you got so many of them. And don't worry, I'll make sure to mention your pout when I give him the bag." Sam rolled her eyes playfully, and we continued our leisurely stroll, discussing plans what she will give to André.
