Chapter 7 (B) :: Promising words

Start from the beginning

"Siya, come here." Vihaan said, throwing a pillow at her.

"What are you both doing?" Ayansh, who was waiting for the love of his life to come inside his room and cuddle with him, now came out listening to some commotion in the living room.

"Ayansh, stop her, she pinched me and then ran away!" Vihaan whined.

"You deserved it." Siya shouted back and ran towards Ayansh to hide behind him. "And, Ansh will not listen to you!" She teased Vihaan.

Riddhi, Muskaan and Aadhya too came into the living room.

"Stop you both!" Ayansh ordered but none of the two listened to him.

"Ayansh, you should think again, this girl is crazy! Do you seriously want to marry her?" Vihaan said, running behind Siya. Hearing this, Siya's feet halted and she glared at Vihaan before speaking.

"Hey, you monkey, keep your mouth shut or I am going to stuff your mouth with bananas. Don't try to change MY husband's mind!" Siya said, making Ayansh's eyes go wide.

"Riddhi, you know your so-called husband over here came to apologise for not marrying me." Siya jokes.

"You traitor, now don't try to mould my words. Riddhi darling, I was just guilty of 'rejecting' her, but I love you and I don't regret marrying you. And you Siya, you think you can slide past this easily, my dear friend?" Vihaan smirked at her. Siya understood what he was going to do.

"Vihaan, I swear to god, you will be dead if you-" Vihaan didn't let Siya complete and said "Ayansh, your wife thinks, you are 'irritating' 'nakchada' 'khadoos' and 'egoist'." Vihaan filled the poor love sick boy, who couldn't even process Siya's words from before - MY husband, with this information.

Muskaan and Aadhya were dying, controlling their laughter. Siya launched towards Vihaan before hitting him with a pillow. "You dhokebaaz (traitor) !!! You are so dead today." Siya said.

If it wasn't for Riddhi, Siya would have gone on and on for hours. Riddhi took Vihaan to their room, while Muskaan and Aadhya, upon sensing tension, also left the living room.

Ayansh was waiting for Siya to say something. His arms were folded against his chest. Siya couldn't look at him, she fiddled with her hands looking at the floor.

"Ansh, aisa nahi hai." Siya started but Ayansh moved towards his room. [["Ansh, listen to me.]]

Siya follows him like a lost puppy. She saw him sitting on the edge of the bed. She moved towards him and stood in front of him after closing the door of the room.

"Ansh?" She called him but he didn't listen to her. "Suniye na!" She almost whined. [["Please once, listen to me.]]

She had had enough of his ignorance, therefore she took a bold step and unfolded his arms, sat on his lap, squished his cheeks between her thumb and index finger and made him look at her.

"I did think that you were rude, but that was even before I started going to college-" Siya tried to explain only to get cut off in between.

"What did you and Vihaan talk about?" Ayansh asked.

"Huh?" Siya was confused. After a few seconds she told him "Nothing much, he just apologised for whatever happened and how much he loves Riddhi to not break her heart ever."

"Does he regret marrying Riddhi?" Ayansh was feeling some kind.

"What! No, he was just guilty and felt like he owed me an explanation because we were friends. And even if Vihaan does regret now, it's too late. I have a fiance, whom I am happy with and he is married too now." Siya cleared the air out.
