3 vtols took off from Yokohama navy base towing a large mech, chrome with glowing yellow eyes, red lines on the face, long tail with metal spikes on its back, large missle packs on the shoulder and guns on its hands.
At NERV command center Misato and other members were watching the screen of the large mech in air.
"Vtols taking off, ETA 10 minutes" Makoto said
"So that's Kiryu huh?" Misato asked
"Yupp MSF-3 type, the law states no nation can hold more then 3 Eva's but it never mentions anything about conventional mechs" Ritsuko said smoking a cigarette.
"Generous of the JSDF to donate this to us, but how did we not know about this? I mean we monitor everything that the government does" Misato whispered to Ritsuko
She shook her head
"We usually do but this time all we got was who actually made it, secret group called G-Force, that's all we know" Ritsuko replied
"G-Force?" Misato asked confused
"Yeah like I said that's all we know" Ritsuko said
Meanwhile, Commander Ikari watched the video feed with his usual scowl.
"Seele won't like this one bit" Fuyusuki whispered to the commander
"Its a simple mech that is all,prepare a sabotage team I want it gone by the end of the week" Commander replied
"Yes sir"
In Tokyo-3 Shinji Ikari was walking through the streets from school heading home, he was listening to music but noticed everyone had stopped and looked up. A shadow covered the street amd he looked up.
Everyone saw the mech being towed, some cheered and took out there phones and started to record. Shinji looked up in awe as the chrome shinned of the sun.
"That's not an Eva," he said to himself
The mech was placed down on a platform in the mountains amd brought down to the same area as the Eva's. It finally rested next to unit 1. The door on the neck opened a young girl in a skin tight black flight suit and white helmet came out. Miasato and Ritsuko waited on the platform for her, she walked to them and saluted them.
"Akane Yashiro, Pilot of MSF-3 Kiryu, i beem assigned to NERV" she said
Misato said nothing just looking at the young girl. Ritsuko noticed her hesitation.
"Im Dr. Ritsuko and this is commander Misato ,Welcome aboard, we will introduce the pilots some other time for now let's get you settled in and a place to stay, right this way" Ritsuko said
Akane nodded and started to walk
Ritsuko tapped Misato on the shoulder.
"Whats wrong?" She asked
"Sorry just can't get over how young these pilots are, just kids tasked to saving humanity, im sure it takes a toll on them" Misato replied
"Lets hope this one isn't like the others, im placing her in the apartment next to yours, so they can be monitored easily" Ritsuko said
Later that day.
Shinji was cooking and baking while auska sat at the table annoyed. The door opened and misato stepped in.
"Hey guys I'm home" Misato said
Misato took off her shoes and smelled the food.
"Ohh that smells good what are you cooking shinji?" Misato asked
"Just the usual stuff you both like and I'm making something for our new neighbor" Shinji said
Auska was annoyed
"Yeah the new pilot who doesn't even pilot a eva, that hunk of junk won't survive a single fight with a angel" Auska said crossing her arms
Misato sat down.
"Come on auska give it a chance, it was free after all, donated by our local JSDF" Misato said
"Whatever as long as that thing doesn't get in my way, and hurry up shinji I'm starving" Auska shouted
"For tonight can you serve yourselves, I don't want to hand this cake over to Akane to late" Shinjin said taking out a small sweet cake decorating it with a cherry and some frosting. Making it look like a chibi kiryu
He put it in a small box,
"I'll be right back Misato" Shinji said walking out the door
Auska was red in the face with anger. Misato noticed.
"Stupid shinji, why is he suddenly so chummy with the new girl" Auska said
"Oh my do I detect a hint of jealousy" Misato said opening a can of beer and giggling
"Wh-what no way, you think anyone would like a guy like shinji, he cooks and cleans that's not what real men suppose to do" Auska said agitated
"Always the charmer auska" Misato replied chuckling
Meanwhile outside
Shinji pressed the door bell shortly after the door slide open and Akane stood there in work out clothes, she was sweating amd breathing heavily.
"Im shinji ikari, I'm the pilot of Eva unit 1......oh and your neighbor, thought I stop by and welcome you" Shinji said
Akane looked at the cake she bowed
"Thank you I am grateful, I'm Akane Yashiro" akane said standing up right again and took the cake.
She blushed as she noticed the details on the cake it had all her favorite toppings and the little chibi was cute.
"Oh im sorry, would you like to come in" Akane asked
"Oh uh it's a little late, I promised misato and auska I would be back" shinji said
"Oh of course we have school tomorrow too" Akane replied
"Goodnight" Shinji said
"Goodnight" Akane said back
Shinji blushed as he saw her smile, and actual smile. He smiled back as she closed the door.
At NERV HQ
Secert Seele agents infiltrated the hanger where kiryu was, the other Eva's and kiryu were in chest deep water. They 3 man team entered kiryu through the main hatch on the neck. They went in and started to type into the controls.
"Simple virus should render this machine useless" one said
"We got 10 minutes" a other said
Just as they started to type the hatch door closed and the consoles shut down.
"Whats happening?" The first one asked
The third one tried to get the hatch open.
The room started to fill with water.
What the hell?" The first one asked
The screen came to life and one the screen was a message.
"Drown in your own ignorance"
The room was filled with water, the three men desperately tried to break the hatch open but to no avail, the sabotage team drowned.
The hatch opened and the water gushed out along with the bodies, they slipped off the shoulder and fell into the water tank making them sink to the bottom.
Unit 1 activated and looked over at kiryu, kiryu looked back.
Unit 1 raised her hand and made a thumbs up, kiryu nodded and they both went back to sleep mode.
