As Taylor repeated so many times, she shakes off the negative things people say about her and moves on with life.
That is always the best solution. Though some don't believe it, it doesn't feel good to hold a grudge against someone, but you never learn that until you actually forgive them.
You'll feel much better, and what's better than that? So will The Lord.
He promises to forgive, as long as we forgive. One scripture that I'll always remember is in Matthew charter 5.
Matthew 5:23-24
23 "Therefore, if you are offering your gift at the altar and there remember that your brother or sister has something against you, 24 leave your gift there in front of the altar. First go and be reconciled to them; then come and offer your gift.
Why should the Lord take the time to forgive someone who doesn't even have forgiveness in their own heart?
It's as simple as wanting to be treated as you treat others. You would want to be forgiven so put yourself in someone else's shoes.
I know that it hurts, making it hard to forgive but when you do, it'll make up for the hurt because you feel like a better person.
Take a step by talking to that person you're feeling so sour towards. Forgiving also means forgetting, not completely but enough that the memory won't taint the relationship.
