what hurts more than having a knife stabbed against your skin is a healthy break-up. yeah that shit hurts more than getting stung by a bee.

there are countless reasons for a healthy break-up like; arranged marriage set up for your partner and it isn't you that they're going to get engaged with. next is strict parents, yup.

but chigiri hyoma relates the most is illness.

who could have known that the reason why his soulmate, partner in crime, his clyde to his bonnie. but let's just say his beloved lover - is diagnosed with lou gehrig's disease.

funny just a day before their break-up the both of them were planning their future together. but it seems like happy endings only do exist in fairytales. it's all a myth.

but since chigiri finally found out that you only broke up with him by your sickness - he finds himself by the entrance of the hospital, greeted by the smell of rubbing alcohol. he has no reason to dislike the smell but now, he just felt discomfort.

the pink-scarlet haired male went to the front desk and asked where your room is located which the desk lady kindly responded with the number of your room.

clearly, you didn't expect him to visit you after you dumped him; telling him how you found another guy. but obviously, it was a lie. you can't replace him. never. even in another life you'll choose him.

"hyoma- i mean, chigiri. what are you doing here?" you panicked as your ex-lover walked closer to you.

"why didn't you tell me? you know, we can still find a way."

your face softens, your heart shattering like a glass. you still wanted him back, but you wanted to be selfish for him. you wanted him to hate you so that he wouldn't cry during your death.

seeing him waste your tears for you is the last thing you want him to do- actually, it's actually something you don't want him to do.

"chigiri.. there's no cure."

"but i want to be with you until your last breath. even if you won't be with me during mine, i don't care." he argued, showing that he's serious by his statement you could only sigh.

chigiri sat on a chair near you and sighed. he held your face up and gave you the saddest smile. "my love, i promised you. no matter what universe, no matter what life, even if you're a worm or any kind i will still find you and love you."

tears rolled down your cheeks, your heart aching even more. you knew you were going to die with emptiness but now that chigiri is by your side. you felt some kind of feeling. a feeling that you're still home.

his presence brought you comfort and you're glad that he's staying. but what's painful is that you're leaving.

as soon as his eyes noticed your tears, he also let out a tear until more tears came out. in the end, both of you are crying while holding each other's hands bringing comfort and a sense of home by each other's presence.

"hyoma, promise me that you'll find me in a different universe. in another life, you'll still find me."

your soulmate gave you a smile. "even if i didn't make any promises, i will always find you. no matter what."

they may have separated too early, but second chances always exist. the gods may not have given them enough time in this life but in another time. the stars will let them meet again and love each other once again.
