As he is now properly seated, I was about to call Renz when he suddenly hugged me. I was about to push him away when he pleaded, "Please don't call Renz. You're more than enough." Although I'm worried about how this looks, I'm more worried about how he doesn't want that guy to worry. I broke free from his hug, made him sit, and I also did the same.

"Funny, right? You all thought I'm a good guy and doesn't drink like this, right, Mary?" He smiled as he said that. He knows my name, but I'm happy enough for him to notice me that much. "Well, people have a good side and a bad one. I never expected you to be this drunkard, but at least, I know one thing." I smilingly looked at him and added, "You will never be in this situation unless you feel like you lost something or someone you really cared for and loved this much." He laughed, but his voice is shaking.

"You can also cry, you know," I said to him and faintly smiled. "Can I?" As he said that, he did not faint a smile but made a forced one. "Sure." I smilingly answered, then he stood up and blocked my front.

He stood in front of me, so others won't see him cry. I stood up on top of the bench and hugged him. People behind him were surprised, and so was he. Honestly, the reason why I stood on top was so he could hide his face on my shoulders from all the people around him. I may be embarrassed right now, but this person in front of me is genuinely crying.

"You're hilarious," he said and forcedly laughed. "Shut up, just cry," I said to him, and I stopped hugging him but let his face still on my shoulders. From there, I can feel the tears flowing from his face, and I can hear him quietly sobbing.

If this is one way of comforting him, I'll do it, for he melted the stoned heart I'd carried on.

His POV

I heard an angry voice over the phone call Renz had. After the girl hangs up, he laughed so hard and said, "She's the best! No girl is ever disgusted as her when I call or joke like that." Even though I already know who he's talking about, I still asked, "Who is it?" He smirked and said, "The one who makes you smile."

"Right, you said you have her number," I said to him, hiding the fact that I'm concerned about it. He smilingly asked me, "Yup! I memorized it. Want to know her name and contact details?" Although I'm curious about it and wanted to know it myself, I seriously said to him, "No, my top priority right now is Ali." He only looked at me with a frown and texted someone.

As we parked the car at the airport, I wondered what Renz is talking about. Ali said that she's busy because of her modeling job. She's not lying.

Suddenly, as if Renz read my mind, he said, "Whatever is in your mind, you'll see the truth in front of you." He went out of the car, and we went immediately to the departure area. "Let's hide, and you'll know what your so-called loyal girlfriend is doing." I frowned when he said that and when we saw Ali at the departure area, we hid immediately.
