I feel like I'm letting everyone down
I don't respond the way I used to
As quickly or as eagerly

I do not divulge into the updates
That feather the stream of speech
I choose who knows me, holds me

I will do anything to feel enriched
activities that are selfish and dear to me
What did I miss?

I listened with a full heart.

I used to think you couldn't have dreams
not everyone, of course
Someone had to fill the dreamers purse

I was grateful to have so many give to me
I have to fulfill it now
But, I had not chosen a dream

All of these believers and not a dream
I tried some out, they wore me down
While I ignored the dream I secretly held

All roads slowly intertwining
I had a similarity in all of them
A common scenery for the set

I will dream
I will use the word with force
Not holding back the smile it begs to feel
