Look at that tree
I didn't notice it at first, when you look at it
Longer than you did the first time you realize
It's been there, cute and growing
A few shades of greenone stands alone, slightly strong
darker than the others
Yet, there's some pretty fresh growth
Some lightness to it.I think this tree should stay I hope it does
The owners of that new house might like it
I hope the electricians allow it to stay
It's blocking the wires, it may cause damageIt's not the trees fault it's been planted there
But it is the most picture worthy tree
there in those modest woods by the house
The city has already cut what surrounds himthey've let him stay once, maybe he'll stay after
they clear out the others, the debris from nature
whenever they decide
to build another house.-Evergreen
