Tae's POV

It had been half an hour since Mrs. Lee took Jimin and Yoongi with her. My mind was racing with curiosity about what they could be doing this late. I couldn't help but wonder if Jiminshi was alright. Sure, he's older than me, but he's also shorter than me, so Jiminshi being alright is essential to me. Wahhh!

Lost in my deep thoughts, I was startled by someone calling my name.

"Mr. Jeon Taehyung, it's your turn now," Mrs. Lee said, snapping me back to reality.

In that moment, JK stood up, looking serious and determined. "Why are you still sitting? Stand up, it's your turn," he urged me.

"But Jiminshi?" I hesitated, worried about my friend.

JK reassured me, "Yoongi hyung already texted me and said that Jimin is already done, so he left with Jimin to the house..."

"Oh, I see," he replied, feeling a bit relieved.

In the next moment, tae heart raced as he noticed JK's serious look as tae played with his fingers. There was something intriguing about his demeanor.

With a playful glint in his eyes, tae asked, "Ummm, Hyung."

"Hmm," jk mumbled, and I couldn't help but think how cute tae is looked.

"Can't we skip this? I'm totally fine," tae said, trying to find a way out of the situation.

But JK wasn't going to let me off the hook so easily. "No!" he exclaimed, taking tae hand and leading him towards the medical room.

Inside the room, the atmosphere changed as the doctor asked, "So Taehyung, why are you skipping your vaccination?"

Tae mind scrambled for an excuse, and he looked down, unable to meet anyone's eyes.

JK was quick to react, demanding, "What? What do you mean by this, doc?"

The doctor calmly explained, "Oh, Mr. Jeon Taehyung has not taken any vaccinations for a long time. That's what his medical report says."

JK looked at tae, his eyes narrowing slightly. Tae could feel myself getting caught in his own web of excuses.

Trying to salvage the situation, the doctor diverted the conversation, saying, "Hey, you can scold him at home. Right now, what's important is his checkup. There are more people in line too."

Feeling a little guilt , jk mumbled an apology, "Yes, I'm sorry, Hyung."

But the doctor's words were a wake-up call for tae,

The doctor continued, "It's okay, and Taehyung, it's very disappointing that you neglected your vaccinations. Right now, I'm just giving you two doses."

Panic surged through tae as he pleaded, "No, please! I don't want any injection. I'm totally fine and healthy. I don't need it," his voice quivering.

The doctor, in a reassuring tone, tried to educate him, "Taehyung, vaccinations are not only for when you are weak. They also provide essential minerals like iron and calcium, which are important for your body and help to fight diseases you may encounter in the future."

Still scared, tae managed to stammer, "B-but..."

JK intervened, "Tae, it's okay. It's just a vaccination; nothing will happen. You're my sweet boy, hmm?"

His words warmed my heart, and tae nodded hesitantly, "Oh, okay."

As the doctor asked where he wanted the injection, tae mustered some courage and replied, "Forearm."

JK chimed in with a smile, "Yes, sure."

To my surprise, tae found himself seeking comfort in JK's presence as the doctor prepared the injection. He unconditionally sat on JK's lap, trying to hide his fear.

JK's soothing voice whispered in tae ear, "Aww, my baby, why are you scared? See, your hyung is here, nothing will happen."

But he couldn't shake off his anxiety. "N-no, please," his voice broke.

JK gently held tae hand, encouraging him to face the injection. "Nothing will happen, okay?"

As the doctor administered the injection, tae couldn't help but tear up from the fear. But JK's support and encouragement made him feel stronger....

#after vaccination

"There's a strong boy," the doctor praised, offering tae a lollipop with a smile.

Tae took the lollipop, still looking at the doctor with teary eyes but feeling proud of myself for facing his fear.

"My hand is hurting," he complained, rubbing my forearm.

The doctor reassured me, "It's okay. Gently rub ice on the area where you were injected, the pain will not last long."

JK teased him playfully, "So, doctor, is everything else fine? Does he need any medication or vaccination? Just tell me."

The doctor played along, "Oh yeah, why not?"

Feeling a bit embarrassed now, tae playfully protested, "You both are bad!"
