The night had settled over Yoongi's expansive house, enveloping it in a serene silence that Taehyung found both comforting and unsettling. Here he was, in what Jungkook referred to as Yoongi's domain, under the pretext of needing to be watched over while Jungkook went about his business. Taehyung couldn't shake off the impression that Yoongi resembled a cat-aloof yet capable of sharp, cold glares that spoke volumes about his demeanor. How Jimin managed to live with him was a mystery, though Taehyung had to admit, Jimin's endearing presence seemed to complement Yoongi's icy exterior.

As Taehyung reflected on these thoughts, he couldn't help but dwell on the fact that Jungkook and Yoongi were stepbrothers, a detail that added complexity to their relationship. Yoongi, being the elder, held ownership of their family's company, while Jungkook pursued his endeavors with his own business. The thought of two cold CEOs, each with their own sphere of influence, was both intimidating and intriguing to Taehyung. Tonight marked their first night together in this new arrangement, and Taehyung's mind raced with questions about what lay ahead.

**Thoughts in the Night**

"I'm here at Yoongi's house, as Jungkook insisted we live here," Taehyung murmured to himself. "He said he couldn't leave me alone because of work. I guess that makes sense, but Yoongi... he's like a cat, so cool and distant. I wonder how Jimin manages to live with him."

Taehyung paused, recalling his earlier interaction with Jimin. "Jimin seems cute. He and Jungkook bonded quickly. Jungkook mentioned they're stepbrothers, but their bond seems strong despite that. Yoongi's the owner of their family's company, and Jungkook has his own business. Two cold CEOs... This could be interesting."

He sighed, glancing around the room. "Tonight's our first night. Who knows what's going to happen? I shouldn't think about... those things. Jungkook is attractive, yes, but I need to stop these thoughts," Taehyung scolded himself, lightly slapping his own cheeks to refocus.

Suddenly, the sound of the door opening snapped Taehyung out of his reverie.

**Jungkook's Entrance**

"Hey, why aren't you asleep yet?" Jungkook greeted Taehyung as he entered the room.

Taehyung blinked, momentarily flustered. "Ah, I'm not sleepy yet," he replied, trying to sound casual.

Jungkook raised an eyebrow. "But you need to sleep. Tomorrow is your first day."

"First day?" Taehyung echoed, puzzled.

Jungkook handed him a bag. "Here, take this."

Taehyung peered into the bag and his face contorted in distaste. "What are these?"

"They're uniforms and books," Jungkook explained calmly.

"I can see that, but why did you buy these?" Taehyung questioned, a hint of frustration creeping into his voice.

"I bought them because I don't want you to sit idle here. I've enrolled you in a good college. Wake up early in the morning," Jungkook informed him matter-of-factly.

"What? Why did you do this?" Taehyung exclaimed, handing the bag back to Jungkook.

Jungkook frowned slightly at Taehyung's reaction. "Don't shout, Taehyung. And why are you giving this back to me?"

"Listen, Jungkook. I'm married now, and I don't want to study," Taehyung asserted defiantly.

"What did you-" Jungkook's tone turned dangerous, his glare piercing through Taehyung.

"I said I don't want to study," Taehyung repeated firmly, meeting Jungkook's gaze head-on.

"Don't make me angry, Taehyung. Go arrange those things in the closet and then sleep. It's already 10; you need rest," Jungkook ordered sternly.

"N-no, I-" Taehyung stuttered, but Jungkook cut him off.

"Go!" Jungkook's command brooked no argument as he turned towards the bathroom to freshen up.

Taehyung seethed with indignation. "This guy... how dare he? What does he think of himself?" Taehyung muttered under his breath. "Even my late grandpa didn't force me to study. And this guy... he bought a whole semester's worth of books and a uniform. What kind of college even has uniforms? Why did my grandpa choose him for me? He's treating me like his puppet! No matter what, I won't listen to him. I'm not his slave; I'm his husband. He needs to respect my decisions too."

With that resolve burning in his chest, Taehyung angrily stuffed the uniform and books into the closet, then climbed into bed and covered himself with the duvet.

**Jungkook's Reflections**

After returning to Yoongi's mansion, I discussed Taehyung with Yoongi. He gave me multiple tips and insisted I enroll Taehyung in a good college. I considered Jimin's college, which also had uniforms. I took a trip to the college to gather admission information and successfully secured a spot for Taehyung there. Following that, I purchased his books, relieved to have completed that task, though it had been exhausting.

"Now I need to buy more things-stationery, a lunchbox, water bottle, a college bag..." I murmured to myself wearily. "It's late; Taehyung is probably asleep already."

Upon returning, I expected Taehyung to be asleep, but he wasn't. When I handed him the things I'd bought, he threw them back at me! How dare he? I questioned him, and he boldly declared he didn't want to continue his studies. This boy always gets under my skin...

I warned him and headed to the bathroom for a quick shower. As I returned, I noticed Taehyung had already fallen asleep. I gazed at his innocent face and couldn't help but smile softly. "Look at you, so innocent and cute while you sleep," I whispered to myself. "But when you wake up, you're a total devil. You've got more nerve than most people. But you're my sweet little devil now, Jeon Taehyung."

Unbeknownst to Jungkook, Taehyung, still awake, overheard his words. A blush crept onto Taehyung's cheeks as he processed what Jungkook had said.
