Chapter 5: Oma Su?

Narrator Pov

Location: Omasu

"Look on Sokka and Kitara... Momo"

*Roaaar*

"And Appa"

Aang stood on top of a peak showing them the city of Omasu, He wore his usual monk nomad get-up, Kitara and Sokka wearing the water tribe clothing respectfully.

Sokka and Kitara couldn't hide their amazement when they saw the beautiful city of Omasu.

"They have walls that don't melt!"

"I used to always come here to visit an old friend Bumi."

Aang recalled vague memories of the real Aang and him playing around.

"So what's our plan?"

Kitara turned to Aang, Unless this was one of his confusing yet amazing decisions, Aang didn't have a reason to bring them here.

"If I hear something like, I want to ride a rock car on a rock race track I'm staying here with Appa."

Sokka refused to waste time playing when he could just train in the wilderness.

"Every time you take a random stop somewhere for fun I always get dragged in somehow."

Sokka glared at Aang, and Kitara quickly leapt into Aang's defence

"Didn't the last time he took a random stop help you find Suki? Oh, Great defender of the Kyoshi warriors" Kitara mocked him, Although Sokka could say how he knew he was being mocked.

"You... I don't even know my sister anymore."

Sokka said in a dry voice, These days his arguments would always end with him losing.

"Accept it, You always enjoy every time Aang takes us somewhere new"

"The reason we are here is because we need to find an earth-bending teacher."

Aang lied since he just wanted to follow the plot as much as he could so he wouldn't change anything and lose grip on what was what.

"Please! You've mastered the Avatar state do you still need to master any element? You can beat the Firelord right now in a one-on-one fight."

Kitara normally paid attention to Aang, It was a new habit of hers to observe him when he wasn't watching, She liked to call herself his shadow since that was exactly what she wanted to be, So she aligned with her womanly instincts knew Aang was stronger than he was letting on.

Aang realized there was no use in telling that lie so he changed it.

"The thing is who knows I might win a one-on-one versus the Firelord? But he isn't just one person, we are going against the entire Fire Nation, We need to have some people on our side too, the three of us alone can't do anything to the Entire Fire Nation but that'll change if we had our army."

Aang's words opened Kitara and Sokka's eyes letting them know that they weren't against one person, They were going against a whole number of them... In fact, they were going against an entire Nation, It wasn't an exaggeration to say if an entire battalion of fire soldiers were to attack them right now, Maybe only Aang would walk out alive but Appa, Momo, Kitara and Sokka would most likely die.

"I didn't think of it that way."

Kitara confessed embarrassed, She made a mental note to start taking war and Battle strategy lessons from Sokka.
