Dear Diary,

So Gabby has been posting photos of her with her new friends.... as I should have expected, it has been happening kind of easily for her. But on the other hand, I have got my own thing to be excited about.... the entire choir is going on a choir trip this weekend on a bus and we are going to stay in a hotel!!!!!! We actually just got our room assignments and I am about to see who I am with. It should be with a couple other girls and at least one adult. Chelsea is going to see who she is with too. Oh yeah- and the trip is to Chicago.

yay Chelsea and I are in the same hotel room!! And I get to meet Chelsea's mom!!

we are currently on the bus... not much to share. Just listening to music and reading books. Kind of bored.

It looks really cool but we haven't done much yet besides swim in the indoor pool.

Dear Diary,

So I am about to go to bed but I think I underestimated how much I was going to bond with Chelsea sharing a hotel room with her. It has only been one night and I already feel so much closer to her and may I say we had A LOT of fun in the hotel room.

I almost feel like I have a new.... best friend? Gabby would probably be upset if I heard me say that but.... do I have a new best friend?
